The Notorious B.I.G. channel is the official KZread home of The Notorious B.I.G. featuring his catalog of official music videos. The Notorious B.I.G. is widely recognized as one of the world’s most influential rappers and has sold more than 17 million albums in the U.S. alone. Before his murder in 1997, Christopher Wallace recorded two classic albums as The Notorious B.I.G. His debut Ready to Die arrived in 1994 and helped revitalize the East Coast rap scene with massive hits like “Big Poppa” and “Juicy.” Life After Death was released in March 1997 just weeks after he was shot and killed in Los Angeles. The record topped the U.S. album charts and featured the hits “Hypnotize” and “Mo Money Mo Problems.” It remains one of the few hip-hop albums to ever achieve Diamond certification from the RIAA.

Yeah I was just thinking what was really appealing for me about the sound from this era beyond the nostalgia is that everyone had such a distinct flow. Even if the words just became vocal sounds and a song you hadn't heard before, you'd still instantly recognise who it was. I could listen to 20 in a row and know who from 50 to Luda. Now this 'future' and mumble rap style has taken over they all sound almost the same.

+D.Dragon-Unlimited Ninja Truthfully, I'd say Happy was more of the sore thumb in Pharrell's catalogue, rather than a song like this being the exception. He's done several songs for Snoop (Drop It Like It's Hot...not a clean song lol), Blurred Lines is sassy haha....I was surprised when Happy came out cuz I was like...wow...when did he decide to go bubble gum pop???

Who listens to this song in 2030
I love this song but it’s fucked up knowing that Diddy is making money off Biggie and his music. He’s been making money off him longer than he was alive. 😢
First and foremost- RIP Biggie- thank you for hustling as hard as you did to share your gift with us all. Second- thank you for being a big man who didnt fit the mold on what a superstar should look like. you helped pave the way for a lot of big men and as one, i thank you. And lastly, Thank you for putting this music on youtube in its pure form, without edits or censorship. This music was supposed to be heard like this- not with bleeps and remakes.
