I agree. Against the wall. I’d like to see it pulled out a little because I can see where you’re coming from with the tv in the corner but I think it closes your kitchen off. It also looks weird that Cody’s bed is parallel behind it. Plus I don’t like he’s blocked out of sight 😂😂

Pop the large kitchen sofa next to the wall where it was previously and then get a small single sofa chair in the opposite corner facing the garden and a small foot stool and coffee table next to it, so that can be your morning seat.

I think the snug sofa in the place it‘s in now, makes the place visually much much smaller. I get the idea of watching the garden but I feel like it doesn’t fit there well. But I loooove the colour in the kitchen❤

I definitely think have the green sofa against the wall, and maybe have a smaller armchair in the opposite corner that could look out over the garden but not block the doorway? Also for the wire from the tv maybe drill a small hole in the bookcase and feed it through if it’s going to be there permanently Edit: colours for the living room sofa I think beige and some rust colours would compliment the sofa really well, and with the green sofa lighter/white accent cushions to contrast

Green sofa should absolutely be against the wall. Looks very misplaced in the center of the archway. Could potentially place a chair somewhere along that side so you can sit and view the garden; just not the sofa

I work Tech Support for a UK retailer - for The TV you can build into the wall, they do these cages so you hole in and the tv is still flush. If forplace works, or don’t want to build into the wall, can get a longer cable, if needed, and get paintable tubing, then run it up the green and over to white.

Just some suggestions .... The mirror behind your pink sofa doesn't look right, as the pink sofa looks a little small for that space - you need something else, maybe side tables like you said, but would definitely move the mirror. Cushion wise you could do a nice tan brown colour or mustard yellow. Like everyone else said, the kitchen sofa should be against the wall and you should move your TV to the corner, like you mentioned, then get an armchair for the other corner so you can sit and look out at the garden. Cream cushions would compliment the green. Also, the fact that your kitchen company are replacing the stone worktop and cupboard door is a good thing? It shouldn't be an unfortunate house update just for the annoyance of having people in your home, surely you want your kitchen to be perfect considering you paid for it? At the end of the day it's your home and you are the one that lives there, so just do what you feel happiest with. xxxx

Love all your sofas and their locations. I would buy some chairs for both the snug and the living room. I would pull out colors from the rugs to decorate with. Also for the snug a rug with green and colors you love. Your home looks gorgeous. Happy early Birthday, I had mine last week, spent day in the yard with my dogs, hot tub then dinner with friends.

I would pick out the pink colour in the rug and maybe some beige pillows! You need them to go with the wall colour… Love ❤the new sofa 🛋️

The couches look so beautiful in the house Emily, the cream one and the footstool with the rug is really fab. The green works really well in the kitchen and when you sit on it and talk to the camera we can see the skylight, I love it. The winner is the pink love seat in the pink room. So girlie 🥰

If you don't want the Lichen sofa against the wall, push it forwards so it doesn't block the entrance to the kitchen. That way you can also add a side table if you want to. It doesn't look quite right where it is.

Love that green especially with more of a darker blue or a creamy white. It could be fun to get some pillows that coordinate and rotate them around to the different couches. Blue, creamy white, pink, floral, green could look really cute with any of the couches. It would give you options and let you easily switch stuff up whenever without always having to buy more.

I agree with everyone else, put the green sofa against the wall but then maybe get a nice occasional chair angled facing the garden. Then you can still see the garden but it doesn’t take as much space blocking the entrance to the room

The sofa looks very odd there.

I wonder how it would look if you's swap F&M baskets in the living room. The picnic one in big bay window seems so tiny insignificant lost in the vastness, while big storage/hamper one cramped that fireplace space. If the bigger one is in bay window it can have either a cushion or pad style square seating on the top of it, or even have a display of a book and mini light. While picnic one in the fireplace space can be open and house a bouqet of flowers (dry or hidden vase with fresh ones).

Screaming at you from afar to keep the green dress as it’s looks STUNNING on you!!

Emily it needs to be opposite your TV to keep your room bigger and flowing, and put two side tables on each side of your sofa to make the styling cohesive.👍

I would place the green sofa against the wall opposite the TV in the snug. Then, put a chair on either side of the TV. They don't have to be matching, but coordinating. You could get a plaid with the green in it as an accent, then get pillows that match your sofa for each chair. So that you have a table of sorts, try a tufted round ottoman in the same color as the chairs. You can even find those Ottomans that have storage in them. A beautiful wooden tray to match the wood shelves in your kitchen would accent the ottoman beautifully and give you the ability to style it. The round ottoman will also give you the ability to walk comfortably around the snug.

I might put the green sofa back against the wall and get an armchair (or two!) to put in the space you have the sofa now--this way you can sit on one of them and look out on the garden, you can lounge on the sofa for better view of the TV, and it's overall a cozy conversation area when friends or family are around x

I too don’t have a microwave.. my husband and I have lived 3 years now without one.. I personally think they are so bulky and take up so much space! Everything taste better on the hob! (Beans, eggs.. etc etc) xxxx
