The Norton ES2
I acquired the 1949 Norton ES2 with plunger suspension as a basket case in 2001 It had spent most of its life in the Dorset Gillingham area pulling a sidecar and then left unused in a garden shed. So I decided to have a go at restoring the bike which was quite a challenge. Once restored I rode it for a few years and eventually decided that I wanted a three wheeler so I swopped it for a 1983 Triking. But thats another story!

Nice! Wish I still had my Norton single from 1961.
Nice looking bike, not over restored like some show queens.
Lot of money ya...!! Nice bike
Thank you for sharing. As a matter of interest how many man hours to restore and a ballpark figure of costs? Thank you
Has the frame broken the saddle tube at the top of the gearbox mounting ?
