Rebun Island is the northernmost point of Japan! An island known only to those in the know! Take the Heartland Ferry from Wakkanai and arrive at the floating island of flowers in about 2 hours. On the trek, you can see alpine plants that bloom only on Rebun Island, and enjoy hockey and buff sea urchins. I was fascinated by the superb view, and I'm glad I came! It was an island that I thought. I would like to go there again because the flowers that bloom differ depending on the season.
