I've always had the idea in my head cannon to have the big 5: the LNER, LMS, GWR, SR and NWR

I like to think that when the big four formed, Barrow & The FR joined the NWR. So there’s the big five (I gave the FR and barrow to the NWR bc I don’t think one medium island would be given their own separate railway instead of joining either the LMS or LNER)
