@@linntamd16 I think it’s 2022. The store had signs that said take an extra 50% off all 2022 inventory. The original price was $380, it had a $279 price tag on it then they took 50% off that and then an extra 10% off for military discount.

Good review. I just snagged one. I have the Wawona 8 and needed something smaller when I go camping by myself. Should be easier setup and takedown. I also ordered the footprint of course, and a canvas tarp for the interior floor. I have one in my 8 and can tell you it adds another whole level of comfort. It also makes it a breeze to keep the tent floor clean. Just carefully fold up the tarp and carry it outside and shake it out. It seems no matter how hard to try I always manage to track sand and dirt into the tent and don't like the thought of grinding that into the floor fabric. You can snag a canvas tarp for around $40 and it is worth every penny.

One thing to note about this is that it is a two layer tent. There would have to be double windows in the tent (one in the mesh screen of the base tent and one in the rain cover) and that would be prolematic. This tent is extra cool because there is a window there (in the rain cover) at all. You don't see that much in two layer dome tents.

How has it held up with morning dew and rain ? Have read some reviews stating people got soaked inside

Hi Steve Herrell yes, I do. As long as you are all using normal camping pads and not air mattresses. It would be cozy and you might need to put your gear under the fly/vestibule but you could definitely fit. Thanks!

North face website shows a hanging entertainment pouch in one of the pics. Did yours come with this?

I would imagine the vent is supposed to be open always, especially when it's cold, as your breathing creates tons of condensation inside if you don't get the air flow right. And the only thing worse than being cold is being wet, and cold.

Yes, and because of that it leaks with any decent amount of rain. 100% guaranteed.

What does your husband do to keep the bugs out?

Im actually detected from buying this since the person screaming in the back said there were bugs. I don’t know if this was a joke or not 😫. You should really do another video along with actual assembly that would be helpful!

And you didn't even bother to mention this is a single walled tent...really? Every single-walled tent ever made has significant condensation issues - end of story...do not purchase this tent unless you want interior rain on a moist night...
