I am an EMT-B, in school for my paramedic license, and working with an ambulance service...and I watched this and it moved me to tears...Police, Fire, EMS...we are not heroes, but people think of us that way...so we must remember that we are people doing jobs that have to be done, and we must do so with humility, and yet we still must be proud of who we are and what we do...we are just people doing a job, but our job enriches the lives of the communities we serve...we save lives, and we dedicate our lives to doing so

They forgot to thank tow truck drivers who also work on Christmas day and don't days off.

I've been on the job for 5 years now and my admiration and respect for my coworkers and all who are like them only grows everyday I respond to work. They truly are heroes.

I have been a volunteer FF for over 20 yrs now and the only regret is that I didn’t start sooner when I was much younger. Thank you to all of my Brothers and Sisters in Fire/EMS/Police/Military, stay safe all, around the globe.

I love this so much and thank you! A brother in Blue shared this with me because he knows that I, his brother in Gray/Silver, will be working Christmas day also. He apologized that we are often forgotten but he assured me that he and his Dept will never forget us. Stay safe all brothers and sisters who have to work Christmas and every other Holiday, I pray we all make it home safely.

They where a uniform and not a cape anytime you pick up that phone whether it be day or night they come Sirens blaring. To do whatever they can whether that be save a life or protect some one. On the worst night of my life January 8 2021 many women and men that I may never meet again came to try and save my mother. I may never know how they where but they carry a burden like no other

I wonder what st. Nick thought the Christmas night one of my grandpa's dogs saved her whole litter they were singed her too but she got each and every single pup 7 in all out of a fire cause by the heat lamp he had put in there with them for extra heat it was very cold that night they were in a whelping pen with a door outside to a small run around area and that's where they all were found alive and well it's a good thing gramps didn't put the door down that night he usually closed them on cold nights or else none would have made it
