@@travisvanalst4698 I'm sure there are others that have better production or whatever. I see him, independent, doing this on his own with a static camera, and I get lost in the characters and forget that it's just him. Each character is unique and nuanced and he does an amazing job. I'm sure there are others that may do it better or have better production, but I think Tom deserves his flowers for how well he crafts and adapts his stories, characters, and scripts on a week to week basis.

Agreed, it's really good work. Especially this one. I have a good relationship with my dad, but a terrible one with my older brother and it is always hard to have one with family. This was surprisingly emotional, and well delivered.
Get these poor AFC North boys some therapy for Thanksgiving, Tom. I'm begging you! Ed and Tim had the exact opposite talk that Wildflower and Eugene had in the West and it's breaking my heart!

As a Browns fan, this episode hit deep. I truly felt for Ed as well as Tim. The story of how the Browns moved made sense and finally started to paint the picture of what happened between Ed and Tim. I know I’m supposed to hope the Ravens lose so we can be #1 in the division but I want to see Ed get that call back and repair his damaged relationships. Amazing work as always Tom. ❤

Tom… nothing could’ve prepared me for an episode to rival the reunion of Eugene and Wildflower I don’t know how you do it, but you are a true legend
I feel like I can personally resonate with Tim's relationship with his father. Being called the wrong name, having these expectations of what he wants me to be, just not seeing eye to eye on a lot of things, etc. you're writing and acting is amazing! The way you can tell a very relatable and emotional story through football fans is remarkable!
WHO IS CUTTING ONIONS IN HERE?!?! Bravo! Mr. Grossi! From the lighthearted, even whimsical intro music, a dad joke about a phone book, and then we delve, delve deeper than I knew I was capable... into the feels zone for a couple of characters we've only known for 11 weeks in 15 minute videos. Dude, you are a treasure.

Tom, you finally did it. Tim and Ed's conversation is the first time I've truly cried at anything in the lore. Not just a pricking in my eyes, actual tears welling over. Ed calling Jeannine not to win her back, but to share his pride in Tim even through the pain of seeing him walk away? Oh yeah.
This episode was so fucking good. I’m so emotionally invested in this series lol
Tom once again coming in with phanominal wrighying and acting. You know how to bring out emotional and relatable dialog bulding strong characters.

The two-line sequence after Pops pours his heart out to an abrupt stop on the music to "I don't have tears for you" and the rawness of "Thats ok, I have enough for the both of us" is like insane material. Somehow while creating football content tom is making stuff that people studying film could aspire to make this is crazy work. Great job tom

On episode 2 or something of this season, I said that, as a Ravens fan, I did not like the character of Ed, and that he was going to need some serious payoff. We'll lo and behold, you have actually done it. Beautiful storytelling Tom. Rooting for you Ed.
It's strange, earlier in the year the NFC North was the heavy drama that got my blood pumping and the AFC North was fun and whimsical. Now since they merged I feel like the NFC is in some sort of holding pattern waiting to reveal something and all the emotions and pain is with the AFC.

Another great one. I didn't realize until last week just how emotionally invested I've become in these characters. I honestly forget that Tom is doing all of the characters because I get so caught up in the story.

@@danbsports6760 The home crowd helped bring them back into that game. That won't be there in Chicago. It's easy to dismiss the problems that the Bears caused the Lions, and the fact that the Bears have been pretty competitive since their big loss in Kansas. The weather should also be a factor that might mitigate some of the Lions strengths. The Lions have a difficult finish to their schedule with 4 tough away games in the last 6 weeks. They still have a lot of work to do.

As a father, who is forced to divorce my children’s mother, I do feel for Ed. It is very difficult in today’s society to divorce your children’s mother. I honestly, hope my children never learn why I had to divorce her, and I understand why they will always hate me. But I had to and that is a me thing. But I do love the silly but honest Ed character as I see a little of me. I will continue to hope my children see my love for them, but …. Yea. To serious for KZread.

Happy Thanksgiving Tom! Give Papa Grossi a great big hug, and let him know we're thankful for his son. My Dad passed 7 years ago, and had passed down the curse of fandom to the Lions and Wolverines. He gave up on the Lions a while before he passed. But man, what I wouldn't give to be able to watch both of these seasons (Lions/Wolverines) with him these past two years. God Bless!

In 10 years almost every player on every team in the AFC North is going to be different. Nothing is going to stay the same. The ravens might win the next 4 AFC North titles. The Bengals could come back also. It’s always changing
