Ese Uduehi Actually Cleo made richelle choreograph the routine and it was summers idea to battle she brought it in herself and plus richelle didn’t ask anyone to join her side it was the teams decision and summer wasn’t a very good dance captain

I really want Emily and Richelle to have a heart to heart at some point because the writers just completely forgot about their relationship and history. I hope there will be a scene where they are talking about dance captain and Richelle is like “you gave me the dance captain diary because you thought I’d be a good dance captain but now.....:” or something and I want them to have an emotional relationship cos we saw how like in season 5 when they went to do east vs west that Emily and Richelle were always the ones to hug and Emily when she had to leave the next step in season 3, her last conversation was to Richelle and I feel like the writers have completely forgotten and undermined that. Rant over sorry xx

I wanted that to happen when Emily gave Summer the dance captaincy after year of mentoring Richelle. It would have made so much sense but the writers clearly don't pay attention to their own storylines.

Also maybe James and Riley will come back to talk to piper about kissing Finn cause James and Riley know about cheating cause of the Beth and Alfie situations

Yes me too! One thing though (this is completely irrelevant but...) Is it just me or are the white walls for this season Really short it's like only 3 seconds long and the songs are not classic ones from past seasons. Normally I'm sure the white walls are at least 5 seconds long.

@@juliawilliams789 Now you mention it, I think that they may be shorter and possibly used less than in other seasons? I find that the show seems more professionally done and in some ways this is good but (as Alishea has said before) I miss the way the camera used to pan around or zoom in. Also shots at different locations, like at the park, walking down the street made it seem more natural and I dont think you would catch them doing that in season 7.

I feel like Emily needs to be included more as she is a main character and hasn’t had much scree time. I think if they do season 8 none of the current cast would return and the current fan base would loose interest. As much as I love tns It also doesn’t make sense of there to be a season 8 because they have to do regionals again which would lead to nationals etc. And I don’t think think they’re gonna do that coz they need new cast and all that. I also really hope that summer gets a chance to perform with a troupe again as she is kinda a main character

I do have a feeling that this is the last season of TNS unfortunately. The whole point of dance mania is to show the audience that this is where most dancers will go after studio life (if the get lucky). Even if A - Troupe doesn’t win, they won’t be allowed to compete because they are now classed as professional dancers. If they do win Dance mania and B - Troupe loses Nationals or no one goes at all, I think the actual studio will close down for good as there isn’t really any money going into the studio and the dancers on dance mania will be getting paid and not the actual studio I think. And so TNS will end but I feel a spin off show will happen maybe Piper and Amy open there own new studio with the money they have from Dance mania but the show is a different name. I was thinking Richelle but I know Briar Nolet is wanting to do more professional things with her dance career and maybe move away from TNS. And Shelby Bain (Amy) and Alexanders Chaves (Piper) are still quite young in there careers so they may still want to invest there time into this show. This is all just a theory but if this did happen I wouldn’t be angry as it ( to me) seems quite realistic knowing what studio life is like ( not personally thought, my sister told me what it’s like).

Tl:dr: Wouldn’t they have said something? Something occurred to me the other day. Well, technically a couple of things, because the thing about splitting the screentime between Dancemania and Nationals occurred to me too, and I realised how surprising it would be if they tried to have that much going on in the show between so many characters at the same time, and it’s now another reason I’m still not sold on the idea of B-Troupe going to Nationals - even though I think that’s almost definitely going to be suggested as an option in an upcoming episode. But no, the other thing was that all over the internet, I’ve been seeing stuff about how people are convinced that Dancemania means the show is ending - that because of the way this is all set up, they’re definitely going to bring it to a conclusive end this season. I didn’t really want that to be what was happening, but I couldn’t disagree with it as a theory - until it suddenly hit me that if they were planning on ending the show after season 7, why would they not say so...? It’s a pretty common cycle these days - if you’re planning on making the final season of a TV show, you say you’re doing it. You advertise that you’re doing this big send-off, you tie up loose ends, and you market it as the final season. CBBC’s done this with other shows before, and TNS is more or less made by them now from what I can tell. And the fact that #Season8whentho exists, as something made up by someone on the show, seems to imply that there was at least potential for another season to be made after Myles was done with his first one... I wouldn’t say it’s exactly a good selling point to keep people guessing about when you might end a show. 99% of the speculation about Season 7 is about it ending - but that’s the point, it’s speculation, and I don’t think they wouldn’t have confirmed that this was the final season if that was their plan all along. From our perspective, it would literally be: ‘Are you stopping this popular and well-loved show after this season?’ ‘It’s a surprise :)’ I just - I don’t think they’re planning on ending it, not officially, and it’s influencing my personal theories about Dancemania - i.e., it’s not going to work out for them and they’ll end up back in their comfort zone, much as I don’t really want them to lose. So yeah - I don’t think it means the end of the show, literally because I think they would have said so. Unfortunately, what I _can’t_ rule out is the possibility that this might be a way for most of the main cast to exit the show. I don’t have anything to discredit that. But I can’t imagine the producers of TNS actually deciding that they could still keep the show going without most of the current cast. It’s not that the formula wouldn’t still work, but the characters are what keep people invested in the show, and they must realise that if enough of them leave, the current fanbase just wouldn’t have enough interest to be a guaranteed audience for another season. So if I’m right, and they are definitely planning for an eighth season, I’d hazard a guess - but sadly only a guess - that most of the current A-Troupers would return for it. I don’t know if I could call these theories - they’re more just hypotheses. But I know how disappointed everyone was about them not going to Nationals, and I was too - so hopefully this gives some people hope that actually, this will all be fine. I’ve been rewatching the show in the quarantine, and I’m on season 2 - and it suddenly hit me how badly wrong everything went in the first half, and how badly everything always goes in the first half of every season. People lose solos, they have break-ups, they leave the studio, and they start to think they might not make it to the final big competition. In season 2, everything that could go wrong did, to the extent that it was depressing - but then when the second half of the season came around, literally everything was fixed up in the most beautiful way, and it became my favourite season as a result. That’s why I have faith in season 7 - because things might seem to be going wrong, but that’s what the show does - make things go wrong, then make them right again before the end :) I think they’re going to end the show after Season 8. I have nothing to back this up, I just wanted them to get to Internationals one more time and then end the show properly. I don’t want them to drag it out any more than anyone else does, but I just think it makes sense to have one more season to tie up loose ends - and there are still quite a few loose ends 😂 fingers crossed! I swear I thought this was going to be shorter... I’m adding a summary. This is getting ridiculous, I need to learn how to cut down my opinions - it’s not like anyone asked for them...

my theories. I think that Finn and Piper will be together and Amy will get mad but then they will become friends again. something like eldon, emily and michelle. I think the team will not go to the nationals since in a video that cbbc published, richelle is seen on a dance program. In addition, the competitions are always filtered by the public that goes and this season did not happen. Kingston and Lily will end up together. I hope so . Cleo will be a kind of villain, maybe she'll try to get the team back to go to the nationals. Something I would like but I doubt will happen is that one team goes to the nationals and another to dance mania. but I doubt it will happen so I will resign myself to see TNS again in the nationals.

Poor Amy this is like the second time 🥺 Finn and Piper are basically Latroy and Sloane in season 4

i think the next step might come back on the 27th may because the show that's replacing tns at the moment (while there on a break) is the secret life of boys and there are 10 episodes of that i think, there has already been two episodes (as today) so that means there are 8 episodes left (one new one each week). so the end of secret life of boys will be on the 20th may then the week after, tns will come back with ep12. its only a guess but it makes sense as CBBC said it would come back in 'late may'.

I'd never seen that video with Briar and the rest of the cast before!!! If they win Dancemania, part 2 of Season 7 might be better than part 1 for me. Speaking of Pinn, I think Piper will be mad at Finn or confused about what to do. I then think Finn will break up with Amy and go with Piper, but I hope Amy's happy with it because she's had four relationships at the studio and none of them have ended well. If Finn breaks up with her I literally think she might have depression. I really hope A-Troupe wins Dancemania and the dancers go on to professional careers because otherwise, it will have been a waste of a season and I will throw my phone at the wall. I also hope everyone in B-Troupe moves up to A-Troupe and starts training to be competitive. Great video Alishea, and I really hope I cry at the end of Season 7 too! 💖💖

i think that the people working for absolute dance will tell richelle that if she goes to dance mania then they'll take away her title so then she doesn't go to dance mania and goes to nationals with b-troupe and her spot will be filled with summer or cleo

I’m thinking it could be interesting if the drama on A-troupe will have the team dividing into two teams, with some B-troupe members. For example the Famy/ Pinn drama will have Amy and Finn and Piper deciding to go to different teams especially since in an earlier episode after dance mania was introduced Amy said that she thought nationals should be a priority. Just a theory tho 🤷‍♀️ xx

Or can you make an a troupe but like all your own ideas maybe picking a few dancers from this season but also creating your own characters! Picking names , personalities and dance styles. Also choosing who will leave a-troupe if they don’t go to dance mania but if they do who will go or stay from b troupe and who will stay.and also what the a troupers will do after if they do go to dance mania . I think A troupe will also go to nationals cuz summer did say in the trailer we might be burning our dance careers to the ground and in the bts that was on IG they were in a hotel room with room service and summer was there

I think season 7 has went completely down hill I hate the fact that they are going to dance mania. It doesn’t make sense because as Emily said they won’t be allowed to compete at any competition AGAIN so does that mean all of A-troupe will leave? Will B-troupe all move up to A-troupe because there’s no one else? I also can’t understand why they are making Cleo and Jude in a realtionship when clearly there’s like 20 other realtionships going on? Should a huge thing like that not get a storyline or at least more attention? It’s never been done on TNS before

i think in one of the behind the scenes that the next step posted the actresses who play cleo and jude talk about the alternate auditions, and she said that jude 'doesn't make it into a-troupe... or at least not yet', so i think she and cleo will get more screentime?

I really really really really really miss Noah. I have beeen rewatching TNS from the start, and he is just always an amazing person. I have finished internationals, season4 next (probably my least favourite season lol) Noah!!!!!

Well I think that in episode 12 it will show A-Troupe preparing for nationals and then they do all the stuff and then they win dancemania in episode 19 and in episode 20 all the current A-Troupe decide there future and then it just follows B-Troupe at nationals. Loved the video

totally agree with these! Some things to bring up (they’re not exactly predictions so lol) : - in a photo for the 200th episode, Dylan and Berkeley are with the whole crew and cast, so hopefully they come back for it! I believe you can find the pic on alex chaves’ instagram. - a fan account (cant remember the name of the account ahhh) posted season 7 spoilers, and in one of the pics, you can see piper, summer, kenzie, Amy and lily in something that resembles a hotel room (as there’s a bed). There was a series of photos which included some of the guys too. I’m kinda confused with the costuming for dancemania tho. In the off season, we learn that the dancer gets given a category right? And then they perform it on the spot? But I mean hey, love what julian and carter are wearing 😂 I really hope pinn works out ahhh 🥺🥺 as much as I’d love tns to end at season 7 as it would be perfect if they win dancemania, I also think pinn deserves more than half a season of being together. Anyways, sorry for the long comment haha. What do u think will happen on the 200th ep? Xx

I remember the hotel room was on someone's insta story, I tried to find it for this video but I couldn't 😕 To be honest I think this half of the season has loads of potential! I'd rather it didn't end on a cliffhanger also, I want the show to end well!

I think B troupe could actually work out at Nationals...potentially. They'd have Summer, Cleo, Jude, Izzy, Presley, and some others. There is hope. Very small hope, but hope. I also think that not all of the people who qialified for Dancemania have to be a part of the final team. So maybe some will leave and compete at Nationals. I wasn't sure of who all were in those photos/videos of people at Dancemania. But those are my general thoughts. Also, Piper is literally Alfie and I'm not sure what to think about her at this point.

Imagine if Miss Kate is a judge on dance mania cos she went to be judge on a reality tv show

I feel like this season is gonna end whitout a cliffhanger, but if it is renewed for another season (fingers crossed) and most of the current cast isn't in it I wouldn't be mad about it because this show is about the studio, specifically A-Troupe, and how the dancers grow up in it and eventually become either professional dancers or leave the studio for other oportunities. But if this IS the last season I would like it to end with A-Troupe winning Dancemania and then at the end, Emily introducing a new A-Troupe showing that the studio is gonna keep the same as always.

did no one else also think that Amy and finn were really rushed and just seemed like an excuse for piper and finn to not run smoothly, idk it was just quite a random sudden relationship

Yeah I thought the same thing. TNS knew how much the fans shipped Finn and Piper so they wanted to tease us by giving us Finn and Amy instead. And then when we finally get the Pinn kiss, its not very satisfying because Finn is cheating on Amy, so I think the writers are just messing with us at this point!

These theory’s are so good and I wish would happen, with Piper, Finn and Amy it will be like season one all over again and Amy will either be heartbroken or will remain good friends with Finn and Piper. I also think that with dancemainia Miss Kate will be a judge as she was going to be a judge on a reality tv show in England but the production could’ve moved. And if they do go to Nationals Michelle may be there with Chuck since she may have become a professional dancer! The only thing is that the producers are copying storylines from different seasons 💗

i want season 1 2 and 3 cast of tns to watch it on tv and have memories or be really happy

Though this is extremely unlikely, I think that it would be nice to do a Glee season 6 spin on TNS season 8. They lose dancemania, so Emily gets fired from the studio and Nick closes the place. Putting it on sale. Noah's life outside of TNS isn't going well for him. He returns home fto Toronto after getting a call from Richelle about TNS shutting down. He returns to the studio to see that the place is for sale. He goes inside the dark building and ends up in studio-A. He does an emotional solo, remembering all his times as dance captain. He will not stand to let the next step's memory fade. He buys the place from Nick at a cheap price, as he felt like the place didn't hold much worth anymore. Noah got the money from a musical he starred in. He finds it hard to get people to audition for the place, so he calls members from the Internationals teams, among them Amanda, who he has made up with. They stay for a two part special, which ends with an enterally new a-troupe. One of which is James's sister. And Noah's sister, played by Tate Mcrae.

I feel like Richelle won't be able to compete because she's the face of absolute dance so she's kicked out an then her and summer maybe cleo go to nationals with some of the strong B troupers. When you saw Richelle at dance-mania they won nationals or the A troupe win dance-mania and she is exicted for them. This is what I think btw sorry if there is any spelling mistakes. LOVE THIS VID IT'S AMAZING!!

I think this season will be the last season (due to dancemania and them not going to nationals) so I hope for the season finale they bring everyone who's been on A troupe from season 1 to 7 back for one big final dance (probably to the song stand up as it is the iconic song that started it all)

i know this definetly wont happen but i hope that how in the jiley international duet james did the hands thingy on rileys stomach and everyone were saying they could be hinting a plot line that now riley and james will come back for a bit and riley will be pregnant or another thing is that james will come back because of pinn and riley will be back for emily

I was there in the audience for dancemania because they film in my city you actually zoomed in on my brother in the audience behind briar haha

I think that they're going to do Nationals and Dancemania because in one of the trailers they released for season 7 Richelle says "We may be burning our dance careers to the ground" so I think they are going to do both

I have a feeling that they are going to loose dance mania and then they can still go to nationals. I also think that Emily would leave cos in the season 7 trailer emi says that she has to follow her heart so I think that she leaves to maybe do something with Michelle.

I do think that s7 will be about Richelle at the end, kind of like Noah how the dances and dancers were kind if about him

Am I the only one who would put A-Troupe before anything? So for me it’s completely normal that SUMMER has to put A-Troupe before cause of course all of them want to go to dancemania but can’t because of summer. So it’s natural, that summer, the dance captain put her team first. I would do that, and it’s nice that summer did that too.
