Have you decided on the roof covering yet? I re-covered my garage roof a couple of years ago and after some research and you Tube videos, I used torch on mineral coated top coat felt but nailed it on. According to the advice I got, it should last 15 to 20 years but I'm in the West coast of Scotland, so we'll see. So far it has lasted through the gales and storms unscathed. I'm very impressed and it's much cheaper than corrugated sheeting which was my first choice.

Nice one gerry, I have managed to blag (half price) 20m x 1m of green 15yr super-dooper felt, I'm going to use membrane as underlay lol. Should do the trick. I'm not using any tin on the roof.

That looks like a lot of work you have got there but it will be worth it in the end. You cant beat a bit of tongue in groove 😜
