Wemby's stats after the All-Star break (when they started letting him play 30+ minutes): 23.5 pts - 12 rebs - 5.3 asts - 4.5 blks - 1.5 stls - 32 minutes PT Seems like that PER36 stat is pretty close.

I don’t think the Spurs will trade for Murray or Young because the Hawks will certainly want their picks back. The Spurs are slotted in to at least have 5 draft picks with the stronger draft class in 2025. They could definitely use those picks to either draft or use them for trades, so if I’m the Spurs, I’d hold on to those picks.

+ Wemby will be a offensive hub just like Embiid, Sabonis or even Jokic in his prime, as soon as they put him at the 5 he averaged damn near 5 assists and he’s a rookie, so i have no doubt he’ll average 7+ assists in his prime, he is 7’4 with an 8ft wingspan and he can jump so double team won’t do nothing to him he can just see and pass over the defense, and he already made some of the most insane passes i ever seen, between the legs of Bogdanovic in transition, dribble between the legs to a no look pass, the special LeBron’s pocket pass or the special Jokic back cut pass, behind the head/back, lobs, bounce pass, full court outlet pass, wrap around pass… It’s obvious he’ll be a offensive hub, at 20 he is already waaay better than AD at passing/playmaking and punishing double team, and sometimes he literally look like Lebron or Cp3, bringing the ball up and directing traffic, so i wouldn’t be surprised if he become as good as Jokic, and if he does he’ll definitely be the GOAT, or at least have the highest peak ever because he’ll be the best defender, playmaker and maybe even scorer in the league, this never happened before, Lebron was the closest, in 09 and 2013 he finished 2nd in DPOY voting and he had an argument for best scorer and passer in the league, but i think he really became the best scorer and passer in his 2nd stint with the CAVS, and at this point he was no longer a Top 2 defender, he was still elite, he averaged like 2.6 Blocks and 2.4 steals in the 2016 Finals, he was the perfect defender in playoffs for the 2015-2020 era with a lot of small ball because he could guard 1-5, but i think Draymond, Kawhi, AD ect still had a bigger impact on that end .. But Wemby is already the best defender in the league imo, and next season he’ll average an efficient 25-27ppg and 5-7 assists especially if they get better players, im telling you this kid is already better than AD, im a Laker fan and he had a 5x5 against us, 27/13/8/5/5 if i remember well, first time i see a statline like that lool

I think the Spurs will draft a defensive-minded guard because Tre Jones stay getting cooked by every opponent’s PG, like Tyrese Maxey and Jalen Brunson who both had their career-high against the Spurs with Jones as their primary defender. Another player that they need is a 3nD wing because the Spurs, although they have improved their team’s 3P%, it’s still below average compared to the rest of the league. Also, they need more defensive players so that they could take off some of the defensive workload from Wemby. Another concern is a back-up center for Wemby because Zach Collins ain’t it. I noticed that every time Wemby is off the floor and Collins is in, that’s usually the time when their opponents make a run. I hope Charles Bassey comes back healthy enough to be Wemby’s back-up but there’s really no telling if he’s gonna be good enough especially after tearing his Achilles last season. Barlow is decent enough, but he still lacks experience compared to Collins and Bassey.

Right. Spurs need 3 players : a PG, a 3nD wing and a back-up center. With 2 top 10 picks, they could have a large part of what they miss. They can decide to draft a PG or to trade for. As teams with picks 5-7 don't need a PG, several PGs will fall to #8 if they aren't chosen in the top 3... then #4 could be a 3nD or a center : everything will depend on who drops there. Pick #8 will be easier.

when you look at past teams that had multiple top 10 1st round picks, they didnt fare so well. they should have been able to make a dynasty type team, but didnt. they either drafted bad or traded the pick, SMH. Like look at the Cavs after LBJ left them for Miami, they had the #1 overall pick 3 times in those 4 years. and i think had the #4 pick in 2 of those years also. what did they get for them? 2011, Kyrie #1, Tristan Thompson #4 2012, Dion Waiters #4, Jared Cunningham? #24 2013, Anthony Bennett #1 ???? 2014, Andrew Wiggins #1 Think about that, so either the NBA was trying like all hell to help the CAVS bc LBJ left, or NBA was trying to make it possible that LBJ comes back to Cleveland.
