Hello guys! Let's tour the Newly Renovated and Modernized Manila Zoo today. Version 2.0 po talaga!😁 Pang world class na siya! Natupad na rin po wish nila Luis & Lance na makarting sa Manila Zoo. Thank you po at nag-open na ulit. Yung excitement sa mata nila, lalo na si Lance, priceless!
Our visit was worth it. You can really see the difference and change from the old Manila Zoo. The sizes and spaces for the animals are now larger, with lots of greenery around. I love the Butterfly Garden a lot. I just wish there were more flowers and colored butterflies inside. But still loved it! The bamboo treated materials that were made everywhere, in the roof framing and stairs are really eye catching for me. It was made in modernized way or as they say world class design. Overall, we had a great and fun time inside. Hoping for more animals soon, like the giraffe, hyenas, hippopotamus, fishes and more flowers. Another one is I hope they could provide some place where people can have a picnics like before.

It was during Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso term that renovation efforts of the Manila Zoo went into full swing. It was not just a mere renovation, but a complete rehabilitation and redevelopment of the zoo, which sought to address the earlier issues.
Instead of just simple animal enclosures, there are new facilities built. To name a few, the Animal Museum, Zoo Lagoon, Botanical Garden, Butterfly Garden, Reptile House, Children's Park and a Sewage Treatment Plant, which will ensure the past mistake will not be repeated. All enclosures are larger to give the animals more freedom of movement, most especially the one belonging to Mali, the Asian elephant who is the main attraction of the zoo.
