@@ShayLuvHair I installed the Phyllicia hair and I like it a lot. It’s really dense hair and I’m not used to working with hair like that. I cut it to shoulder length with the help of one of your videos. This is the first time I cut it without saying “ oh no what have I done!” 😂 One of the best pros is it doesn’t tangle or mat. I can’t believe it’s behaving so well unlike any crochet hair I’ve used before. My son said it looks flammable and I need to buy better hair! This is one of the best hair I’ve purchased but he’s never worn crochet hair besides it’s on my head and I like it!😂 is there a way to send you a pic of how it looks. I used to have that issue the problem is my hairline is crooked so when I go to braid it wants to start off center so basically I just start two strand twist for one or two rounds add a strand and then start braiding from the twist. Seems to settle the issue.

Hey! Thanks so much for watching! Sorry for the late response. I've been moving. Life is crazy right now. But I would use a curl pattern that is strong, like beach curl, water wave, deep twist, etc. Brand doesn't really matter as long as the coil is firm.

Do you mean like crochet box braids?

I stated out doing a braid in the front but now I part it off and braid in place about 5 rotations and then start cornrowing cuz my hair is long

I actually vlogged taking it down and never actually posted the video. lol. I was looking so crazy in it. but thinking about dropping it on memberships if I ever edit it. So anyway, its kind of funny you asked. It doesn't take so long. I still cut the length of the hair off first so I can see the best I can. Then I go back and CAREFULLY cut some of the knots, (the ones I can see easily). Then I just find the legs of my cornrows and star unbraiding my hair. The knots then slip out as you unbraid. I took me about an hour, well not quite an hour to take it down.

I've seen your illusion crochet before and awesome job. Haven't watched this one yet but I'm about to but I wanted to Comment on starting the cornrow. Have you tried to start your cornrow by braiding in the same place first before you begin to continue the cornrow? Even though we will not see them but just a thought lol ❤️

If you compare Kima ocean wave vs Authentic ocean wave, which do you like best? Is Authentic shinier or easier to maintain? Which knots better?

Kima may be a tad bit easier to install. But Authentic doesn't have the ridges that kima has which I like more. Overall I guess I would lean more toward Authentic. But I wouldn't go out of my way to choose one over the other. It would boil down to which one is easier for me to get to. lol. The differences in to two are minuscule.
