The New WORST Collapse I’ve Ever Seen!

The New WORST Collapse I’ve Ever Seen! The Chargers failed to win after leading 27-0 in the NFL wild Card round. Trevor Lawrence orchestrated an unlikely comeback after throwing 4 interceptions to start the game. Justin Herbert & the Chargers now have the 3rd worst blown lead in playoff history.

Absolutely. The Chargers collapsed in a historic way--and somehow were ONLY up 20 at the half after a +5 TO differential--but without Lawrence playing a hell of a second half to bounce back from that nuclear-tier disaster that was the first 30 minutes of the game, there is no collapse to speak of and the Chargers move on.

Oilers v Bills playoff in the 90s was awesome. I was just a kid, a middle schooler who loved Tecmo Bowl and learned the game by watching it on tv as a latch key Gen Xer. Sustained concussions and torn ligaments playing in high school. Missed one game and ran chains with a swollen knee from what I guess was a MCL or ACL tear when I was 15. Remember running the 50/40/30/20/10/End zone sprints when we couldn’t do the practice scrimmage tackles bc one of us had a broken arm. I wish football were better regulated and we all wore Don Beebe helmets and Tv gladiator style pads so no one got hurt…well, fewer of us/them and there weren’t bloodthirsty cops on Facebook pooping on football players, announcers and EMTs when it happened. Oh America 😢 I’ll never let my son play football bc of this. I love football but I don’t want to see people die and suffer lifelong injuries to their physical and mental health for my entertainment

Fire Staley. They've blown leads a lot this year. That's a HC/culture thing. The same team that can put up 27 pts and get 4 picks, shouldn't just disappear in the 2nd half. That's a coaching thing. Keeping your foot on their throat and finishing games is something they've struggled with all year. Also, Herbert is not blameless here either. He's low on the list of people to blame, but he deserves some also. If he's as good as we all think and people say, he should've been able to will his team to a win and hold that lead. Especially with an ENTIRE 2nd half to do so. As a "dude" he HAS to be able to do that and he failed.
