It actually made it harder which made it fun! They should make it like an effect that makes all your tools/weapons do less damage. Like the level 1 effect would only effect tools, level 2 effect will go to axes and tools, and 3 will reduce all weapon damage. That would be cool to reduce certain weapons damage so you have to play smarter and think of different fighting strategies.

Minecraft is one of those games that can make even seasoned veterans feel like a child opening a massive Christmas present with its updates. Even all these years later, going into an update blind often brings a feeling of wonder and discovery at what has been updated or added. Hearing Parker’s reactions to not being able to simply break the Trial spawner, or discovering the Vault was awesome!!

@@mkks4559yes, i think you’re right. About the biggest updates like the Nether or Village & Pillage changing our perception of what a “good minecraft update” is. It’s said that once you have experienced greatness, you can never go back to the normal things. This is probably one such example.

2:05 Ocean monuments, ancient cities, shipwrecks, strongholds, villages (abandoned ones count as a separate structure, but they also have water in them), and ocean ruins all have water in them. Coral reefs and Desert wells are not counted as structures by the game, but they also have water in them.

for future stuff: potions do the opposite to undead enemys, so if you throw poison at a stray, It heals them.

I just found your channel like two days ago and been binging your videos. You have such a lovely energy about you, your excitement about new stuff puts a smile on my face! I feel like you’re an amazing human, keep doing what you’re doing!!💖

It’s been a while since I’ve seen mojang do something so cool and well done, and now with the introduction of the Boss type of thing with the ominous trial, it feels so full and refreshing for Minecraft.

This speak a lot to the discoverability of all that was added. Rekrap going in completely blind was able to discover all the mechanics of the chambers by himself just by observing and doing things that come to mind. Mojang is really doing some bold game design lately.

The dispensers are not trying to *tell* you that wind charges can activate redstone, they are there so that when the breeze (wind thing) shoots them then the dispensers will flood the place, shoot a fire charge, snowballs, eggs, or a potion, etc.

I love watching your videos because it brings back the childlike wonder and exploration of "new" things I experienced when first playing Minecraft as a kid. You can vicariously feel the discovery and excitement through the screen and it puts a smile on my face being able to feel that again, thanks for the great content

Episodes like this are what make Rek popular. He's not acting jaded or callous, like, "Yeah that's cool or whatever." He's just having fun. And we're here for the ride.

it's a mixed bag for me. on 1 hand fighting more mob on multiplayer sounds good. on the other hand they might be cave spiders or strays. but every feature has it's ups and downs. this one is defently up

Rekrap, your videos are great, I just want to tell you that potions have the opposite effect on undead mobs (zombies, skeletons...) as to players, so a poison potion will give a regeneration effect and a weakness potion strength to a mob.

This is just not true. Weakness effects all mobs the same as does strength. Regen effects all mobs the same except for undead mobs, who are simply unaffected. There's no mobs who gain the opposite effect from poison, undead mobs and spiders are immune to poison, whereas Witches are heavily resistant.

I love how if you rocket jump perfectly with the charges you can get up 14 blocks with just 2 of them. Minecraft now has rocketjumping before it has rockets (apart from fireworks)

I love how you attempted to mine the Trial Spawner, thinking it was like a regular spawner.

This is the most positivity I’ve seen regarding the new update in a while, great video!

I think the reason for the dispensers is for the mobs’ wind charges to trigger them so it throws the potions on you mid fight

My favorite part of the update is definitely the wind charges they have so much potential when it comes to movement and games on servers. It would be so cool to see these added to MCCI games.

Rekrap I have a video suggestion and it would be super cool if you could give this an attempt "Speed running the Rubik cube" or something similar to that it could in the same style as your learning to speed run Minecraft video and set your self a goal of trying to get a sub 30 solve Using one of the many methods such as CFOP. They do not, only harming and healing potions work differently. Undead mobs, along with spiders are simply immune to poison.

Honestly, I feel the Wind Charge is something rek would absolutely love to use if he knew the full capabilities. Hopefully he does soon, and a video gets released about it.

Remember that "I collected all armor types" series? Maybe do the same for wolf wariants. For example: Badland Wolf with lime collar and orange wolf armor(without thousynds combinaton of dyes).

The reason there are Dispensers with stuff inside is: Breezes can Push Buttons, open doors and trapdoors etc with their attack, And i think they can make dispensers go off too. And there are stuff like Eggs and Snowballs because they can be fired at you, and water buckets can flood the place. Edit: ah nvm there are buttons next to them
