You can get better cold start by using glow plugs more. You need to turn key lightly forward from ignition position before it starts to crank. Keep it in that position at least 15s. This gives more service time for starter motor:)

If my memory serves me correctly, there is also an secondary system besides the plug heater (electric) which should be used when possible and with glow plugs. I don't know correct technical grammar, but there should be a little rubber nipple in the fuel pump like 02/03 series, Valmet engines after all. If the conditions are severe and no electric heater isn't available, push the "hand throttle" or what its called in english down so the engine RPM would be 50% or more. Push that nipple inside, atleat older Valmets had a little hole in the left side engine cover at that spot near the fuel pump. Use those glowplugs about 30s and start, when the engine ignites and starts to rise in revs, release the hand throttle so the cold engine does not rush too high.

@@MiniMachines1 I looked your video and did not see the same kind of hole in left side pinel like in older yellow series. It could also be engine related matter, even though that 3 syl is Valmet origin also, we had 905 with six in the line.

It works good, it's an easy design and don't need many moving parts, as long as your tractor can drive true it's no problem for the snowblower. There are sometimes i need to back up into the snowdrift when it's to big, but normally I can drive true the snow and pull it into the snowblower. I do have an walk behind snow blower but it dosent have a chance when winter sets in, could had a snowblower for the Bobcat that would have been nice and a closed cab, without a snowblower and only bucket it gets to much show in the end of the year, I used a tractor only with a bucket one winter but than I had a pile of snow bigger than the house in the garden. And one of the plans with the new tractor is to get some work in the winter clearing snow 😊

Mini Machines mulig det skal være sånn på 505, at lamper slukkes når du vrir på gløding, enkleste er å koble på multimetret på glødespiralen eller glødepluggene å se om det dukker opp strøm når du vrir nøkkelen til gløding👍

Glow plugs, electric pre-heater and something I don't know by the correct word in English, basically it forces the fuel pump to push more fuel into the cylinders than normal in the cold start. Made in 🇫🇮, made for winters.
