I think this bike came with aftermarket in mind. Like you said there’s a huge amount of room on the rear to fit fat tires and I’m sure swapping out other individual parts is just as easy. Suron knew what they’re were doing with this design

That airtime at 5:54 was insane you flew higher than that tall grass, I would bet there was daylight under them tires, it was nuts. like radio the control tower for re-entry, just nuts. Like if my drivers license was laying there you would of flown over it, yeah it was easily that high, like multiple millimeters of air, pure insanity.

I ride sports bikes dude! Love the e-bike updates. I remember when surron first launched. Dude, they've come a long way but still somewhat unobtainable. Keep it dude! Incredible job with a videos!!

The ultra Bee is put together very nicely. I like the torque when you hit the throttle it did 0 to 40 in 2.8 seconds . Very impressive. Nice wheelies too you made it look easy and smooth to pop up. Enjoy your new ride bro and stay safe.

Ive been a mountain biker my entire life and never rode moto. Last year I bought a $10k Specialized Turbo Levo Expert E-MTB. It doesn't have a throttle, just pedal assist. I have had a ton of fun riding it. I am looking at getting my first moto bike and I'm looking at either the Ultra Bee or the Storm Bee. I like that I can buy a Storm Bee for $6500. That seems very inexpensive. I'm used to spending $5k to $7k on my mountain bikes. These videos are great because I can see exactly what these bikes are and how they ride.

Nice video. Keep in mind that for lighter bikes on the street, wider tires are not better. You can look to the physics of it or you can just look at racing. Small light race bikes have smaller tires and can turn way better because of it.

The one takeaway I have for the ultra bee is the much better ergonomics and better seat

I wonder if they’ll make the 2024 line up of surrons come with the option to be fitted with a 96v battery, which they should’ve thrown in stock in this bike since it is a beefier bike. Love the vid tho bro❤🔥

Just ordered a Surron Storm Bee here in USA. Should be here in May. Can't wait. Love my Light Bee.

Actually like the look of the plastics of the ultra. I’m interested how people will upgrade it tho

The difference between these two is like comparing apples to oranges. The surron X is basically an upgraded E-bike and is ridden as such while the ultra bee is a full blown electric dirt bike.

the storm bee is the full blown dirt bike. ultra bee right in the middle. X still closer to a small dirt bike like a 85cc two stroke which has similar size and weight than an ebike which has little in common

I love to see a more ditbike style e bike, especialy since the surrons can lack in the suspension area out of the box, However I see the "plated" part of it becoming an issue for doing wheelies around town. The regular surron can pass off more easily as a "mountain bike" but now that these are registerable as street legal its basically like doing wheelies on your actual bike, especially if you do decide to get it plated. Still awesome tho.

Be careful, bro. Keep it up. Don't forget safety first Do a long range test. Would be cool to see for a lot of us.

Hell yeah same I’m sure you could add a controller And gain a bunch of power & speed it is a decent battery after all I know ebmx is already got a controller for it & the storm bee plus an upgraded battery I’m pretty sure but I keep seeing Storm bee clones flooding the market & cheaper Copy’s of a Chinese design for s bike isn’t uncommon but there coming with gearbox’s even look up the time ev dirt bike

@@evanyancey8497 I’m not talking about performance. I’m just saying I feel to old to be riding one. Especially since they are illegal everywhere around me. My ultra should be here in two weeks and I have some hoodlum rides planned already. No mods planned, except maybe wheels and tires down the line. If I want more power, I’ll ride a moto.

Best part of the bike is the charger under the seat. Looking forward to your Upgrades on this model!

Happy with recent Surron X purchase. I think it looks better than ultra bee. Any additional features are available as an upgrade. Recently added a replacement leather seat and it is now much more comfortable to ride. Can't wait for Summer!

Didn’t realize the U.S. versions don’t come with turn signals, a rear plate holder and extra foot pegs… any recommendations on how to make this bike road legal here? Heard about dirtlegal as an option, but I live in MA and know they will require turn signals and plate…

if ur in europe u guys have so many better options, kindam makes me mad how the states are just barely starting to get on the bikes bit whilst almost every rider in the UK or Germany etc have ebike.

@@SRNAR8 yh but in the UK it's easier to get confiscated, road legal here is only pedal assist and 250w and also if it goes over 28mph you have to get it made road legal and registered as a moped with a license plate

I paid 6500 for a street legal 250cc supermoto. I can't justify paying that for an electric bike lol. That's just me though.

@@shockadellick I want it road legal because I live in a village and I don't want a petrol moped due to noise as I work in a pub and I finish work at 1am but I also want range for distance. Making it road legal grants me access to go on the motorway once I have a full motorcycle license so there is plenty point in getting an ebike to be road legal, not everyone just gets things for fun, some of us want to be practical

I feel like it’s just an electric dirt bike more than the big toy vibe that got everyone into it

Thought the top speed was meant to be 90kmph, 56miles. My stock talaria already does 80kmph (50m) quite happily so guess there is no major benefit there. It's already got the better seating position and is quieter than a lightbee. I was quite excited for the ultra but feel like it's not going to be my next bike. Have both a sting and a light bee in stock form and chose to ride technical and tight trails off road. They are awesome bikes, it's making me less inclined to get my petrol bike on the road again as they are to much fun and easy.

We are limited to the off road version of this bike in Australia. May be 2024 before we can get a street legal version. Like you say, it needs better specs anyway to be buying one for riding on the tarmac. Cheers man!
