SotN IS rather pretty, intricate pixel art has that type of effect I guess. The only other Castlevania game that matches this prettiness is Order of Ecclesia in my opinion, and it’s only in some parts.

Yep it’s one game from the 32bit generation that still looks amazing even in 2024. That and the epic music. Love this game! Agree that Order of Ecclesia also looks great.

How do you take so little damage? At level 71 the Guardian does 104 damage to me, but severely under levelled and under equipped you take 1 damage.

Galamoth Jewel of Open start with a weapon worse than your fist. (you probably can't have that, like I don't know if you need to unlock the Inverted Castle the normal way)

How is he back dashing through enemies?

It's part of the leg day rando (infinite jumping + super long back dash with i-frames)

Wait, spike breaker location had mist, but then spike breaker was transformation locked, and this preset doesn't have wolf or bat? What was the intended way to get to mist then?

The room was already lit up, so you only need Spike Breaker+extra height gain(Leap Stone or Gravity Boots) this time. It's also never locked by transformation like Olrox/Akmodan is, but specifically Bat+Echo combo is needed for the casual player to figure out the way through the dark. Without the darkness, just Spike Breaker+Leap Stone or just freeform flight(really just Bat or Leg Day Leap Stone).

@@SyRose901 right, but spike breaker was behind olrox right? Which is transformation locked, and if bat and wolf are disabled, then the only transformation (mist), was locked behind needing spike breaker.
