This is not the Black Series. It’s the Night Vision Series. The Black Series is the ones with the orange minute hands.

I have a Seiko Samurai and my wrists are a bit over 6.5 Inches and I absolutely love the look of it. I wouldn't say it looks too big at all. The lugs don't overhang and the circumference makes it look assertive and resilient. Just my opinion of course!

same here 16,5 - 17 cm and my manta sami looks ok and not too big in real life.

Agree, the Turtle is the best. Also the hidden compass can be really useful once you know how to use it!

Thanks for the video. Somehow I missed this when it was published (I'm subscribed, I swear!) Just discovered this watch today and it's nice to see your hands on (especially because I think our wrist size is similar).

Is this a Seiko or Omega review? I love the way you mention the fact that you own a Seamaster in almost all of your vids...4 mentions in this vid alone 😅😅 Also you incorrectly called the *Land Tortoise" - a "Turtle".. twice in fact.. .The turtle is a dive watch whereas the Tortoise is not...as it doesn't even have a dive bezel.

Nice video but i like the original seiko turtle without the cyclops. I actually order one from joma shop SRPF13K1...its a classic

I have 6.75" wrist and 38-39 is the perfect size for my taste. 47ish lug to lug.

Not sure if you know your wrist size if you think 38mm is small on a 6.5in wrist

You wouldn't do before 39mm with 6.5" wrists? I'm putting down 8.25" and would wear a 38mm all day long

i always find it so interesting when people with 6.5 inch wrists find 38mm small

What size wrist do you have? I have a 6.5 inch wrist (maybe a tad bigger) and it most certainly fits. The lugs don't overhang which is the most important part of a watches size. I'd try one on before you count it out!

I went with Solar just for the implied longevity.

I have one very cheap but still working after 5 years skeleton watch have 45.6mm case. Its doesn't look big at all on my 6.7 inch wrist. This won't look big or i would say its look perfect. Something like Diesel big dady which received as gift look horrible big in my wrist which is 55mm case watch.

I got the SRPH97 a few days ago, it's amazing.

This watch is ugly as fk in person and hard to read in low light

You don't need the sun to charge a Solar-powered watch. Actually, you just need light. UV or light from a lamp. Takes a little longer to charge.

I’d like the Samurai, but I’d prefer a metal bracelet…hate rubber straps.

Wrist check...nothing. I haven't had a watch on my wrist for 3 months now. Try to save for a Longines Ultra-Chron or Spirit Zulu Time in Blue or Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon, 40mm in black.

Solar watches will do just fine without direct sun. Just don't keep them in a drawer for their life and they'll get enough charge.
