@@NaturalBBlernobody is making him use that. Its just available as an option. Their cordless tools also have significantly more power than their corded tools so it's not all about going cordless to not have a cord. *I have a Festool corded track saw knowing full well that the cordless tool is better. But I don't have a lot of Festool tools and I know I'd have unused batteries sitting around getting damaged from sitting so I went corded for my Festool things.

@@NaturalBBlerthere are portable shop vacuums that you can buy, I imagine those are the intended tool for dust collection, but if you're in a decto would working shop that has dust collection ports everywhere then no matter where you are you can just hook this thing up to dust collection (I have also seen dust collection ports that have the hose wound on a spool so you can get quite far without the hose taking up too much space)

I'm really trying to wrap my head around why Festool thought they'd sell even a single sawzall. Anyone that needs a sawzall is going to Home Depot and buying a DeWalt for 80 bucks. I don't doubt that this is a very well put together saw, but a sawzall is a demolition tool and is expected to get the living crap beat out of it by subcontractors. I don't think any demo or construction contractor has even heard of Festool, let alone willing to pay for Festool when their 20 year old DeWalt is still working

One thing i like about any not DeWalt tool , especially Milwaukee, Makita and festool is the vibration on all tools are reduced so much compared to DeWalt. On DeWalt after 10 min you need a doctor to open you up and mix your red blood cells with the white again. And it's not just the recip saw. The circular saw is like a petrol chainsaw, the jigsaw is like someone pushing your elbow while trying to use it and the multi tool can be used to vibrate fresh concrete or/and if you don't like your neighbours vibrate their house into dust. The planer should be called a jet plane or at least a honda cbx 1000. I think Hamas was using DeWalt to cover their tunnels being made.

I just read here that it's too expensive, I don't need it, I love using my Milwaukee. I'm just saying, quality has its price. Sure, I can get from A to B in a Peugeot 207. I can comfortably drive from A to B in a Maybach.

Yes, that's fine so of course, but that's just an old piece of old dried out pine. try a nice piece of oak that size. It'll cut it. It won't be as fast if it cut it. No we'll probably no problem.😅

Yes,but can you pivot the handle for a more comfortable grip while cutting? My larger Ridgid can 👍 Both are reciprocating/oscillating saws and I use them more then my Milwaukee's, DeWalt's or Bosh
