What they should say is, "the rifle is more accurate than I am." Most people blame the rifle, ammo, ect. before they ever blame their bad shooting.

@@AnthonysOutdoors Yeah sure but man with a rifle that is meant to be highly accurized why does nobody ever strap that bitch up in a lead sled and truly get to the bottom of the manufacturer's accuracy claims? Show me the mechanical capability of the rifle with no copium whatsoever.
Great work explaining the zero stop on the ATACR. I just picked one up recently and this will help.

aye!!
So basically a knights at home rifle. Plus some hype.
I LOVE how it's a thicker rail and not slim like the trend seems to be now. I also love the arca along the entirety if the rail also. The rifle checks every box so far. Question though- Where did you get that Kill Bad Dudes T shirt from? Lol, I want both the rifle and the shirt, lol.
I want one!! Badass 👍
Really love their build, def pricey but nice.
I’ve been having the battle between lpvo vs mpvo, what scenario would make you go after one or the other on a 13.7 to 16“ rifle?
Damn, I love my home built, high end, SPR but if Ridgeline is making one it's gotta be fire. I don't know if I'd trade my WOA barrel for a Proof but man, I love that rig
Dream AR
It’s a nice rifle no doubt. I will say though I built a bartlein spr profile barrel with a vltor MUR upper, SOLGW rail are 419 arca rail under same SSA-E and the other AR stuff for around 2k. So this Ridgeline rifle to me seems overpriced but as long as you’re happy. I did have to add shim and used some loctite 609 for good measure to the MUR for a better upper fit. I had to heat up the upper to fit the shimmed barrel extension.

I think this rifle should sit around the 2.8k mark not the 3.2k for what you're getting.
Did ya follow proof’s barrel break-in procedure? Or just shoot it?

Great video as always. I'd love to see how this compares against a 16" build with whatever parts you like.
3199 built? It's nice, like really nice, and has some things I couldn't do but that's right with my 6ARC SPR/DMR build and it's Gucci AF.
I wonder if it would be easy or hard to have this re barreled to a chrome lined barrel.
@TheMikeshannon
Ай бұрын
It would be easy, but that's like buying a corvette and putting snow tires on it.
The rig is cool but I'm more interested in those 85 grainers! Can't wait to hear more about the performance from them...different barrel lengths, gel, etc.. I suspect sadly that they'll be around a buck-fiddy per round.

lol did this guy negate "two flyers" from that first group???
This was a helpful video. I have a DDM4 v7 and looking for the right round and hope I found it with those 85 gr.???
Why would you choose the same zero distance for an optic that sits nearly 2 inches above your primary optic? Your trajectories at different distances will not correlate

But trigger pullers made it.
It's cool but a touch over priced, I see $2500-ish there. Now if they only offered it in 6 ARC instead! Great optic choice, I have the same glass on three different rifles now. Gotta include those fliers though, can't be hand picking your groups like that, it skews the true group data.
To pay $3000 for a mid, ar 15 is crazy
10k on a stainless tube? In if true
I should've skipped the PSA Sabre 10 and got this! Just kidding... I bought the Sabre 10 + a Flow 762 TI for less than this gun costs with sales tax.

I'd rather just build my own. nice lower / rail tho
Never know what to think about barrel break in because world class bench rest and F class shooters claim it’s a myth. Now they’re cleaning and stripping barrels between individual competition rounds and shooting hand loads. They also expect 1/4 moa or the shit can the barrel. Maybe what they’re doing is comparable in any way, idk. They’re also shooting bolt guns which makes a difference.

Cheating on the accuracy. Fliers are part of the group so its more like a 1.5" gun which is fine for an AR

They come with test targets. And it’s a proof SS barrel, I know how those shoot.
Its a nice rifle but i would like to see it ran through the ringer before i will spend that kind of monwy. Especially now a days. A bunch of companies build nice rifles for about 1k to 1.5k less and can do about the same. I am not saying anything bad. Its just theres so many out there now and for the price. Well im sure you understand.
So another AR-15

Just sold a Spear LT upper and built a full SPR for the price of just the upper. Won’t miss the 2+ moa of the LT with match ammo for sure.
For that price point, I feel like they could have at least thrown in some goodies. Lol Ya gotta think, if you're 3200 in with just the barebones, you got another 2-3 grand in other shit. Optics, muzzle device, suppressor, sling, bi-pod....Hell they could have at least threw in some fuckin flip ups. Lol
@ANRDesignLLC
Ай бұрын
I'd agree on CTR stock WITH Arisaka fixings over a raw ctr stock, better grip like the Magpul XL over the B5. No one wants flip ups on a F1 gasser. Muzzle device is a waste of money since everyone is going to put their own stuff on. I'd agree on maybe the 20 round Magpul mag with a +5 extension, cleaning kit, extra zero targets. stuff like that for a hair more added value.
...so its an AR15.
30fps SD and 100fps spread is SO dumb.

@@ANRDesignLLC it’s a Proof 416 series. Stuff is actually pretty soft and it comes pre-lapped from Proof. Barrel break-in is a myth. Velocity variation is a thing…temperature, lot#, how dirty the bore is, etc. most rifles will “speed up” after fouled vs clean, but velocity remains fairly stable throughout its life until the point it is badly eroded and fire-cracked. Check out Erik Contina’s videos on barrels “speeding up”.
