This has to be by far my fav case! Seriously, has everything I have been asking for! Good video!
Wow that case is actually smartly built. And I can definitely see how the engineers had the builder in mind, as they have made installing everything super simple.
I love my NR200P (I air cool mine), but if this was available when I was first building, I would have 100% gone this route just for the simplicity of the build!

I’m with you there. I finally finished my ITX build in the NR200 (Aorus B550I Pro AX, Ryzen 5 5600X, Geforce RTX 2080 Ti that I’d been using in an eGPU setup with my Alienware 17 R5, 32 GB GSkill 3600 MHz RAM, 2 TB Samsung 980 Pro, 4 TB XPG SX8100, Cooler Master V850 Power Supply (I think the same one that the MAX is kitted with, and about as much air cooling as I could reasonably fit), and having the power supply included would have made the build a bit more streamlined. I’m quite happy with how my build came out, though I had to split my parts that I didn’t already have out over a period of months so it took a lot of time before I could get it built. Preliminary tests are looking pretty good so far :)

NR200P Sakura (The Pink one) with the Aorus Pro AX B550I, 5950X and 3090FE. 280mm AIO at the Sidemount. The only problem i had was Cablemanagment, since the FE has a Fan on the back. I wouldn't go with the MAX. It doesn't use the chimney-effect or the flowthrough of the 3090FE properly. ^^

@@gucky4717 Yeah, cable management was tricky for me as well. I might try to mess with my cables a little bit more to see if I can get things a bit tidier, but there isn’t a whole lot messing with airflow so I’ll go with it for a while.

Wow, looks great. Thanks for the video!
Great video! :D Would love to see a custom loop build using this case. Curious to see if it's easier and/or more performant than the original NR200P!
Love how they fixed the number 1 issue of the nr200 being that it was nearly impossible to get a top mounted aio, and the guys at GN found that putting an aio at the bottom of the case was a terrible idea.
@gucky4717

Yes and no. It is possible to mount a Slim 240mm Radiator with slim Fans at the Top after some minor (invisible) modding in the NR200P. If you want to Custom Watercool the MAX you are stuck with a single RAD, while the NR200P can have 2x240mm or even more. And the sidemount AIO on the normal NR200P is OK too, since the RAD is the highest point + the Fans cool the Board quite nice.

@@gucky4717 if the mod u meant is cutting some part of the case with tools like dremel, then no. Im not against it, but if u count that as "possible to fit" X then practically any case can be modded to be like that provided they have the proper dimensions.

@@Crustee0 I know I've seen a few people fit a slim rad with slim fans like @Gucky mentioned without doing the full inverted mod, like I think you're talking about. CoolerMaster actually made quite a few things in the NR200P to allow the case to be flipped, allowing a top mounted AIO. Top and bottom plates have exact same mounting system, they're interchangeable. It's actually kind of a bummer its not invertible out of the box, It would have been so easy, and then the NR200P would have been basically unstoppable and there would have been no need for the MAX variant.

@gucky4717
2 жыл бұрын
@@salty1099 Depends...in the NR200P there is not much room in my config at least. The 3090FE takes up the lower portion and my 280mm AIO is so long, that i have to unscrew the entie front of the Case to get it in... If there is a pump in the Rad it wont fit, if it is a 280mm at least.
Everything in this NR200PM looks so perfect: the color, the mounting bracket for the graphic card, the top mounted radiator... Such a perfection makes me want to buy one to replace my NR200P.
I didn't think they could make the NR200P better, but they did. And this direction is quite good for first-time builders. The integrated components coming w/ this kit are a seriously good value, too.

I bought the NR200 and it was so hard to build with all the cables and Side mount AIO, And my overall cost was way higher: 170 for a 750W SFX PSU, 120 for 280 AIO and not even having Riser Cable. $350 for a 850 PSU and a 280mm AIO, a Gen-4 Riser and a premium case sure seems like a steal
After much back and forth and literally ordering and trying two alternatives, I finally went with this. Sacrificing the overall size for performance I believe will be worth. I tried the H1 V2 and the lack of control over the pump/PSU fan and how damn LOUD it is at idle just made the case not worth it. Thanks as always for your reviews/builds man! Really helped me make an informed decision.

Thank you very much for posting. I knew the new Max was coming out but I wasn't interested. Just finished a new-build with the NR200, ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Impact MB, RTX 3080 Ti FE (thanks Best Buy on Aug. 26th), 5 Noctua fans (3x25mm & 2x15mm), Noctua C14S CPU Cooler (yes, fits in the Impact MB no problem). Plus the regular stuff. Works great.
i have the nr200p and the first thing i noticed is the power socket in the back. the Max has it on the bottom but the non max has it up top. It's one of the only gripes i have for the original case as the cable can come lose. First ITX build i have and yes Max and non-max should be super worth for your simple build!
Over time, dust builds up under the top mesh of the NR200 and it looks bad. Cleaning the top mesh is labor intensive since you have to take off side and front panels to remove the top and then remove fans/radiator from the top panel. Only then you can reach the dust. I did not manage to find a better ITX case for my hardware (considering both performance and appearance). But this little problem bothers me much. I wonder what can be done about it (except using top fans as intake but then thermals are too bad and my 2080ti gets throttled).
