Just got the XL on sale for $380 at Dicks. It has been great for me. I’m 6’1 with very long legs and arms so the XL is perfect size for me.

New fork, new tires, 1x, new groupset, new stem. So, keep the frame and wheelset and then it's a great bike lol!

Totally agree with you. Bike should cost, at most, $449 or even $399. I feel that derailleur is definitely messed up. It should not be that loose fir sure. The Axum is still a better deal than this one.

I got the get aggressor for $350. I like the bike so far. Is this one an ok bike for the price? I do feel the tires are a little too fast but it switched gears well and was fun to ride.

Just got this at a M size great bike!

Had the same issue on the derailleur popping and changing on me at first on the GT agressor...needed to really sit down and tune the system to get it running smooth but since no issues.

Honestly the only thing I like about the bike is the color. It is overpriced and the lack of basically a seat to adjustment really isn't good. They designed the down tube with a very slight curve which stops the seatpost from going any deeper. Just wait and see when you try to put a DP in it. As far as big box bikes go I would say that Schwinn has the better buy/build right now with the new axum x. Better components and it comes with a DP. Great videos!!❤

So waiting for these reviews. The newest iteration of the mongoose hardtail and full squish👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍. The xrpro>ledges x1 and 2>switchback/impasse. And in purple no less👍 Aluminum, upgradeable to premium forks with tapered; what's not to 👍 Wish my xrpro had tapered head tube😢; at least a 44 internal bearings to adapt a tapered fork. Would've loved to get those Rockshox domain when on sale.

Big ring to 4th cog would be 11th gear. Cable stretch on a brand new bike is to be expected and can cause your gears to skip.

That bike needs an air fork and hydraulic brakes but the effectiveness of the brakes grows with the size of the rotors.

Nice a Monday morning Wolf Tic video. Gonna guess this price will fly for abit then when reality hits the bike will be on a forever sale of the 450 mark.

That bike is not worth anywhere near what they’re charging for it. If the Royce union was still available, it would be a joke to buy that bike, but even line it up against something like a Kent Travelle. Match it point for point ,the mongoose is way too expensive.

Facts. You can still get a 'Royce Union', but the solid ones are a lil' pricey right now. But I've seen them listed as low as $450. And 'Hiland' offers some decent project worthy bikes at a lower price point also.

With new dereailleurs, if you're clicking on the sprockets, and feel the indexing is odd, you could take the derrailleur off the hangar and slowly open and close it for a few minutes in case you have a stiff spring. I just replaced my rear m6100 and had to do that. Edit: @18:30 looks like you have other problems with yours.

Would prefer the larger frame @ 5'11" but the 29's are a no go for me.

New bike cables stretch. And forks that are on it might be just janky. I’m doing a video on a ebike I got free from a friend. He could not get it to work. But I got it to work. But a video on it for sure

Got mine setup at Dicks, but I'm not sure if they tuned it. I took mine on a paved trail with no hills or anything and i had derailer issues, specifically in 6th gear.

I've snapped to many Frames on Mongoose's Mongeese lol whatever, I used to be a Diamondback guy myself but they were a little heavy, I own a GT but think Trek might be the way to go, I haven't tried one of those yet, anyways, what do you guys think so far is the better bike brands? oh and Thank you guys again for the wonderful content

How does this stack up against the Ardor? Giordano Valor or Intrepid blows this away. 399.00 now at Dicks.

They should have went with sram nx or shimano cues 11 speed. That 2x is so yesterday in this application.

How is this bike any different from the Ardor? Other than color and price.

$549 is up there on price almost as much as the rockhopper sport ($649 on sale right now) especially when it still need to be wolf ticked out

How is the assembly of the sailor cabala going?

I was have the same problem today shifting my Ozark trail ridge. Gonna have to take it to a shop and get a different derailleur and some hydraulic disc breaks. Any suggestions on what breaks and derailleur I should get. Also should I upgrade the cassette?

So many better bikes for the money. GT has 2 different Avalanche model that crush the Dicks Mongeese. If you can get one on sale and we'll see what they go to otherwise better options or there. I wish you would do a GT Avalanche episode.

I'm guessing the back Axle bends I'd rod over any jumps.

That is a $349 to $399 bike. There are better options out there at around that price point.

I just traded a guy a skateboard for a beat up Kent trouvaille with a set of tektro hydraulic brakes. 😂 it’s tubeless and only needs a new derailleur and crankset. The forks still lockout. I’m going to jump it because I have a large ozark trail ridge to really ride on trails.

Would so like to see you some day testing sub $2k bikes like the polygon. Or a used Fezzari or something from Craigslist or facebook marketplace.

I have Switchback 2019/20 27.5" orange and am thinking of swapping the Xposed Fork with Suntour XCR and keeping this bike for another 2-3;years, before switching to another one completely. Not an aggressive biker at all. What do you think?

The Xtrada 5 has thru axles and better fork with boost spacing and hydraulic brakes for $50 more.

There are all out of stock unless your needing a small frame and have been for weeks all polygon bikes are out of stock I was gonna get one till I seen that plus had to pay shipping

its a 500+ bike. from pacific cycles. in a world where the axum just got a significant update. with a 2x drivretrain. AND tourney groupset. again. over 500 dollars. imo, it doesnt need to exist.

Definitely should be a few hundred less. Derailleur looks to be broken somewhere. Where is your chest protector???

the one by may not be as great as you think, the chain angle is bad with 10 speed, the small gear needs to be a 11 or even a ten. then the front gear needs to match your riding. have a 30 for the climbs, 34 for the higher speed....

I find in video twlking takes away from a true ride. Let it rip talk after or a talk over I’m not being Judge to you guys you do great videos. Fun as well. Just my option. But ya know that saying everyone has one

Microshat???? It lasted 15 minutes before i got tired of it chain kickn me! And the push and then push on the shifter sucks! The WTB Trail Boss tires always feel flat riding on them. Your Suntour fork i had once. 😂. I blew the caps off the top and went OTB! 😮

So for a bit over 750$ Canadian i can own your Mongoose! Not!
