I use Minerva Fabrics for almost all my fabric purchases. I love their fabric and they have everything you would ever need. They ship really fast for international orders, at least for me and I purchase a good many things from the UK. Thanks for this tutorial.

I found the Minerva website a few months ago after watching some sewing videos (just before their update). I was dreaming about fabrics and during the Black Friday sale I finally bought my first online fabrics from them. They took about 2 days to process my order and the 2 parcels took about 2 weeks to arrive via ordinary mail (I live in Ireland) I was very surprised with the quality of the items I ordered. I love the feature where you can see other makes at the bottom of the fabric, it helped a lot with choosing fabric. I'm still very new with online buying, but will use them again.

Thank you! I am wearing the Recital Shirt in this video and I used a Liberty Tana Lawn for the fabric (cotton lawn).

Minerva, Darwin, Lancashire’s best!!!!! (its the Red Rose county in England ). Minerva has the best selection of dressmaking fabric and other crafting materials I have ever come across. Please note, I am not affiliated.

I am struggling with the value to me of an Instagram-like website showcasing only Minerva incentivised makers, rather than just using Instagram itself and seeing all makers. I absolutely see the value to Minerva, a clever marketing tool to get people to buy fabric and notions from them by following people such as yourself. I will stick with Instagram and KZread rather than sign up to a single supplier social media platform. I will still follow you on IG and subscribe to your KZread channel as I have done for the past two years, as your content is superb 😍❤️

I agree, I think this is clever marketing too, but potentially could kill off smaller online shops. I I prefer the foldlines approach and their Facebook group.

Thank you -this was most interesting. A couple of suggestions for future episodes--what You Tube vlogs do you watch and why plus what sewing magazines do you read and/or are out there and which do you recommend...even on line magazines. Thanks for all. My mediocre sewing skills are improving a bit. On another topic--did you ever get to any of those other books I sent you months ago? What did you think? I hope you and your family have a lovely holiday.

How many weeks does it take to receive an order once it is shipped?

Before Covid, it would take about a week from when the order shipped. When I ordered in November, it was closer to 2 weeks.
