At 50-100 yards, I'd be using a suppressed AR10 or maybe an AR15. Don't get me wrong, I love my bolt guns. But a 30 round mag seems a higher priority for bustin hogs in groups like you do. 3 rnd brst would make it even easier if you can get your hands on one. Good content and good shooting brother.

Curious why you prefer the bolt over a gas gun? Great looking rifle what caliber?

tried one of these and it would not allow my bolt action to cycle due to a clearance issue with the OEM pic mount. for $7K you'd think this detail would not have been missed. Picked up a pulsar XG50 LRF and couldnt be happier

what thermal does it compare with n how does it stack up - really wish i could find a good thermal/nite vision combo scope ... any thoughts

Love the vids @a.amantine quick question why go for the babies and not the bigger ones ? Or was the babies all that were left to shoot at ? Not saying this as if anything wrong just saw that there were alot of medium to bigger ones still running. Or when it comes to hunting everything is on a equal playing field ? Does range finder update point of aim, point of impact automatically?? If dog is 150 yards, does the Hybrid 50 re-xero the optic and zoom in and out to pre-defind zoom levels on its own?? IE, if you like the image at any distance to be a certain size in your window?? Auto range zero adjustment and auto zoom to a certain target size would be absolutely amazing!!!!

So whats the benefits over the iRay micro clip on you have? Im just getting into boltys and so much info coming at me. Not even sure what caliber to start with lol. Was thinking 308 in a 16” light weight type build (maybe mdt carbon chassis) that I can take hunting and fill a role. Then build a long range precision later. But thats a noob thinking maybe flawed. Maybe just go 6.5 in a 22” ish and make light weight as possible?

Comes with trigger tech trigger, threaded barrel…Or should I just go after an custom with MCM chassis? If Im going to regret it I dont mind spending. Its kinda like 2k for solid base rifle or 4-5k into custom world…

@@TxKiller too bad, top mounting a micro dot is something that everyone in the market misses. Mine has a 1913 rail on the side to mount the option laser rangefinder but for all that's holy why can't they put a rail on top???

@@SpecOpsGear because if you are using a thermal scope you are not using your nods so the red dot will not really work unless you also have a weapon light. so i mean do you really need a red dot? you could always use a canted red dot mount or something.

@@investigativeoutcomes9343 theres a lot of times when i'm out with my thermal rifle using my nods, when i'm on the move etc or when i grab a low light rifle out of the safe. Basically, i'd like my thermal rifle to have a micro dot for passive nvg or white light. Sure, i could use a canted dot but thats not as intuitive for passive aiming.
