Just got this keyboard - definitely helpful and easy to use while on the road. Pairing it with my Galaxy Fold 4 is a great way to get stuff done on the go. I was wondering, however, if anybody knew how to A) Get the tilde (~) to type out, and if there is a way to actually send text messages with the keyboard. Whenever I press enter, it just goes down a line. If you're thinking of getting this keyboard, just do it. You won't regret it.

I use my Italian Durango which clocks in at 644 grams. It's a beast and has backlight. I took my iClever back because it didn't have backlight. Great video and thank you for the detail about the keyboard. You did your homework.

Hello, thank you for nice introduction/comparison. I got one in dark gray with black and it matches my Mac iPad/comp. which is looking great. Could't found any information about how long to charge and is any backlight available? Paired with iPad mini 6, MacBook Pro (2018) and Samsung Note 10+ my phone. Doing sidecar and some movies edit with NO problem.

I have this keyboard and appreciated it for years.. I also have a portable keyboard fetish.. ;-) I have a dozen for review testing. Waiting for the perfect keyboard. Foldable, portable , back lit, multi device , bluetooth and most importantly ERGO. I use mostly with Samsung Dex (using Note 20 ultra ) as touch pad.

Nice setup. They do sell laptops made just for dex. I’m not an android fan, but I do like dex.

Reminds me of the keyboard I had for my Toshiba Pocket PC back in 2004.

Not sure about the first one. Maybe consult Amazon, and it doesn’t have pass through.

I was interested in the iClever BK08 but the only thing I was concerned about was the silver metal hinges hurting your wrists when you type. Does that ever happen? The Avatto looks a lot flatter.

Honestly, they do not get in the way. I thought I had the same problem, but not really the other one is good, bill quality is not the greatest. It does feel kind of cheap, compared to the BKO8 if you’re looking for more of a middle ground, one, check out the one by Bow.

I picked one up for use with my ipad mini 6. Having trouble with trackpad. Do you use the Assistive touch? Im following the instructions in manual for trackpad, but custom actions dont work. it's very glitchy...when I click trackpad once it just goes to homescreen instead of open menu. when I turn off Assitsive touch I can use trackpad with limitations but then buttons wont work.

I do no use assist touch. I just use it normally. I do turn the sensitivity up a bit. No there are no custom actions on ios, it lacks that feature.

After l discharged my iPad Pro electric statics. My iclever touchpad acts normally. The circle don’t jump any more to the left Corner. It’s good and behaviour now.

Worth the trackpad

All the reviews on the Amazon link, has the mini usb. How do I know, I am getting the newer USB -C version? It is make or break for me, I don’t want to buy the older version.

That just seems like bad design- means you MUST have a flat support

Unfortunately, like almost every bt foldable keyboard idk why, the iClever one cannot use the touchpad on iOS

You can, but just for basic navigation. These were never made specifically to work with all the gestures.

No, it did not. I just wanted to give it a re-review, because my older one was kind of lacking. Plus they added a new port to it. That alone deserves a another shot at it.

Would this be usable for gaming? The background music here was quite annoying tbh!

It works fine for one finger click and dragging. Two fingers scrolling up and down, and that’s about it.

If wanting the best trackpad, apples Magic Trackpad, erg lightning though. BOW HB318 is all around decent plastic build quality. Avotto is slightly better keyboard and trackpad. Left and right click are nicer. Slightly worse build quality.

I was waiting for USBC. Now I'll look for an older one with backlighting. WTF

@@VeryLastDollar No extra cost to change to USBC. Cut their manufacturing and component cost to eliminate backlit keyboard, yet didn't pass the savings on to the consumer. What a douchebag move. Especially when everybody rates their products so high. Could have at least offered us a choice for a couple bucks extra.

Yeah, that was like a major selling point for the product. That and the big hill five are the only ones I knew they were backlit. No seriously those two are the best of the best the material use for them, nothing else competes.
