Little tip my friend with the new Highlander, with the dodge forward caber toss makes it so if you empty dash forward in offensive they will react or you get a free grab

I think you don’t need to hit the heavy to switch to offensive you can feint it and keep holding to enter stance

you can chain into heavy after zone attack now

I am just like you with highlander. im good with him, but i dodge attack too much. Even when i know, i will 100% get paried its wired because i dont play like that with anyone else

Highlanders forward dodge caber is a lot better now and I use the hell out of it. Pretty much all I can say I use a lot of heavy feints out of stance, like heavy feint to kick works really well or just baiting a dodge attack. Btw I have 50 reps on him so he’s my main

Is anyone else having trouble using the light attack in offensive form? Every time I try to use it it releases the heavy instead of the light.

Kenzo I challenge you. To use HL and either kick to grab or just simple grab. And get a ledge kill with it. Grab them and throw em off the ledge :) I have yet to see it. I have done it multiple times in High Fort

If your first unblockable heavy hits then try doing it again since most don't expect it as the old highlander would be out of stamina while the new highlander allows you to

Not in the slightest, a lot more tech and oddities. If you put the time in this guy's got fucking 2d fighting game inputs on some moves like Celtics curse offensive dodge attack canceling. Wave dashing is slower and requires more timing, soft feint into zoning and canceling into offensive off a faint. He's a totally different monster now. He's held back by being the lost technical character in the game tho so not a lot of people will put that time in.
