I lost my normal run as i used kangaskhan got the mega band floor 30 and then didnt get the mega stone at all and got wiped bh the fighting elite four

I didn’t have any counters for dark types, and a Hydreigon and darkrai swept my entire team

Giovanni stood no chance againt my contrary, multiscale, timid serperior. Me and my snake son ran his pockets both times he appeared

When I started playing PokeRogue after watching *several* videos about it, I did find myself thinking "Why the Hell did none of those vids mention the team boss fights on floor 115 & 165!? I was completely unprepared!" - Should have realised they were added in a later update lol

I just thought I should mention but I just beat classic mode with manaphy, archaludon, boltund, latios, gmax machamp and stoutland. Boltund and stoutland were just intimidate spammers, I gave my machamp no guard dynamic punch, cross chop,knock off and swords dance to just deal a shitload of damage, manaphy is arguably the most underrated mon in pokerogue, if you can get one that is... I got one out of an egg and it had bouncy bubble which is just giga drain as a water move, and it had tail glow whirlpool and charm to lower attack, latios is just really good tbh, archaludon had plus attack minus special attack and so I ran with physical. I think what made this team even cooler is that usually against Ivy I would struggle a lot, but this time I just used charm 3 times and then used tail glow and swept every rival fight. I love this game ngl

I had to face Giovanni TWICE, which made me lose my longest going run

i faced him yesterday too and he was rough. i was shocked my breloom was able to take down mewtwo (kept using future sight lol) my 2nd encounter on him i got wrecked

Pretty neat run

I was lucky to have a Greedent with Bite, Seed Bomb, Body Slam and the ability Cheek Pouch to face Giovanni. I don't think I'd have gone through half his team otherwise.

Ngl with the evil team update, I've swept thru Cyrus and the Flare boss easily, and the Flare boss was during my first attempt on the Kanto only challenge (i love u Dragonite)

I was doing classic gen 1 only and I kept getting team plasma grunts

My boss battle strategy in classic is to put down stealth rocks and poison spikes then have something like dragonite with dragon tail to force swaps and let it work them down a chunk at a time. If that runs out, I can swap to my sweepers.

Before i started watching you i got to floor 195 once and then the rest were max 145, but now i win every classic run i do.

what's the extension he use? to see weakness and not effective move

I love this game especially since I can play it on my phone when I go out!

What extensions do you use ?

What setting does he have that highlights the super effective moves in green?

Its called “type hints” i think

It is truly insane how if you can get a calm mind mon in front of a special attacker you can set yourself up to sweep any encounter.

That's a fact, I had a faceoff with Alakazam before and I calm mind, recover and then sweeped the whole team with moonblast

@@otakuokami3983 yeah I had Alakazam and Ivy would start with an Empoleon that would always hydro pump and I got up to +6. Regular Alakazam swept that whole fight

Yep, psychic type challenge, it was pretty easy with bitter blade gallade, aeroblast and lumina crash xatu and shiny psyshield wyrdeer. Those were my starters, I was pretty limited with others, I only found a grumpig, alakazam, hypno and that flying/psychic one eye mon. It was surprisingly easy.

Abra pretty much can carry you through most of the floors

When I battled Archie he had a boss Kyogre with 4 health bars and a boss mega sharpedo with 3 like his boss ludicolo

My best run so far got ended technically by villain Boss. yes I beat the encounter, but I was so out of money that I could only get back 2 pokemon and half heal 3rd. 170 gym leader than crushed me. Ghetsis with Boss Parental bond Hydreigon was brutal, and that Kyurem did not help either.

I just keep forgetting they are newly added, hit them at half capacity and crash out

Bro ash greninja is so insanely broken and it’s just there from t he start I think and it was able to solo giovani with grip claw flinches

bruh i was steering with Iron defense aggron and body press but then there was 1 team galactic boss with tentacreul and crobat the 2 pokemon i cant kill

I was so unlucky I got a dna splicer in my classic run but I had to face Giovanni and my main damage dealer were fire and electric type so I lost and had to restart 😭😭😭

It's been months since and I wasn't able to clear the classic run because i was struggling(i was struggling because i thought i was good at pokemon) yet they doubled down on difficulty and left me to suffer lol.

Btw slacking got skill swap as an egg move

I had to dance with Ghetsis for like 40 minutes the other day, it was awful.

How do you make your super effective or not very effective moves shine green or yellow

These Team bosses killed my ghost only runs. always having multiple dark types, In my case almost always a legendary boss darkrai or yveltal :(

I just wish it the game didn’t randomly reset on mobile. Love it regardless

omg you could’ve used moonblast or power gem on kyurem and avoided all that headache 😭😭 i was literally screaming at my phone

I request you try avalugg. It gets metal burst as an egg move, along with bodypress. It being the biggest physical wall in the game while also taking a ton of damage from special moves allows both metal burst and bodypress to get huge value especially in the harder fights like emax-etern. Sturdy isnt a must (as it is its HA) but if you have it, use it.

Is iy weird that i thought giovanni shouldve had a mega mewtwo instead of regulsr mewtwo >.> He honestly felt too easy.

I went up against an Archie with a shiny Mega Sharpedo and shiny Kyogre. These are the worst parts of the gameeeeeeee
