The actual increase in damage is from normal left click shots. However, the charged shot is still hella broken

@assadarlingtoni it's not broken. The max damage it can deal is like 2.5k with crisis if the tank has no armor and protection, i believe. so compared to rail and thunder, it does like half what it's supposed to be doing and it's basically a garbage aug

augment is pretty crap, the new crystal augments for gauss are honestly better

Ah yes, because camping wasn't already frustrating enough. I'm also disappointed that Gauss got HD, especially since it's still the 3rd most recent turret and something like Shaft or Hammer would have been better picks imo.

Can you review the crystal augment that got added to Gauss?

It's trash I just bought it. It increases damage by about 35% and increses reload by about 30%. Basically turns into Thunder

I was on my alt (Mr_b8kw) and decided to open 8 ultras because I was curious of what I'd get. I got supplies, and a rare. I was sure I'd get a guaranteed purple but I got exotic. The colors on my screen are messed up so I couldn't tell whether it was legendary or exotic but I got the gauss augment. That was the first OP augment I've gotten on my alt account

it's nice how they keep adding augments and all, real shame f2p people won't be able to use a third of all the cool augments

Just wait for the nerf.

Try it with hornet. The OD would apply the ap effect, and u would get so many kills

got both augments from containers today. but not the hyperspeed

Also, i think the damage increase only works for arcade

I always have no damage bug on gauss so I gave up using it. It could be fun to use it if it wasn't for that bug

I got it and with maxed crisis but still a bad aug compared to hyperspeed thunder and rail. I actually tested it and in salvo it doesn't work, only in the arcade mode and not as good as it should be

Yo Taspens, i have a queston and u might know the answer, or where can i get it, ok so im top 300 EU in the challange thing were u compete for crisis skin, so for example if i get top 100 do i also get the rewards for top 300 and top 1000? Bc now im 298th in the challange thing and im scared that if i get top 100 i wont get the 30 ultra containers

They have to fix the no damage bug, I had 41 kills and I died zero times and there was a guy who was approaching me and I shot him 2 times only to do no damage and die, he friking ruined my killstreak, and the worst part is that this no damage bug happens to me in every game and its so annoying. Also I use the augment gauss that does i think 30% more damage and its the best if not second best augment for gauss, bc when I play with it I'm almost every time first, also I'm grinding to get top 300 in the challange thing so I can get 30 ultra containers and it helps a lot, also ricochet with max crisis and hopper helps me get first to, lol. Edit: I found out that the augment that im using for gauss is actually SUPER SOLENOIDS

There are other bugs, there's a bug that I can't use specific supplies when I have others activated, it usually occurs with double damage.

so he ping is not broken for me only. Believe me Taspens, games like COD show ping 40 to 45 ms or so. This game is the only game in my device which shows a ping of 100+ ...

Not gonna lie...that's nowhere near close to "300%" damage... Gauss already deals over 2k damage so if it was really 3x the original then it should be over 6k per shot. The same augment on railgun deals over 5k damage with crisis (4k without) and takes half the time of gauss to reload. All in all, this augment is kinda trash, the fact that it should give you 300% yet you can't oneshot most players with it WHILE USING CRISIS??? That's just disappointing. Tanki needs to stop capping about their stats...

Fr! I got it and in sniping mode it doesn't work, so that's the basic gauss no aug damage with crisis. For arcade, i think max is like 2.5k if the player has no protection or armor, so indeed it is basically trash and such a waste that i upgraded gauss from mk2 to max for it

​ @ibrahimnasser6016 Taspens made a mistake. The "300%" damage is for the regular arcade shots Those do 670 damage That means 335 damage at close range and 1005 (335*300%) at long range 💀💀💀💀 which is really trash
