This cup is super fun. I've never played pvp until a few days ago. I would only battle here and there but with this cup, I've been battling a lot. Love that I got 9-1. Most wins I had in a row. I would usually just get 2 or 3 wins out of 10 battles lol

Same here, I never did any PvP until now. I only started playing 5/15/2021 so i was afraid i would get whipped by all the "experts". I had no idea what i was missing. I thought all the dieing i would be doing would waste my items but the pokemon revive after battle. Its awesome. You really have nothing to loose and everything to gain. Now i finally have pretty easy access to evolution stones and TM items. Even got a few 3 star pokemon i never had.

I'm using my Slowpoke with Confusion and Psyshock, and it sweeps so many teams

Kinda weird i went this slowpoke vs my confusion psychic one and won.

Cottonee takes 4 times the damage from poison since it's grass and fairy.

I have a similar team, also shadow bulbasaur lead. It beats a lot of the meta. I use shadow growlithe in stead of chinchou, because it also beats a lot of the meta. I run brave bird on my ducklet to ko other ducklets.

This is why I am sticking with the Master League Classic.

Clauncher is amazing run smackdown as fast move it's super effective against fire types and ducklett (flying type) it's been my mvp I've played 50 games so far and I've only lost 2. Both were do to lag and missed clicks

FYI - I wouldn't take Chinchou and Ducklett on the same team - build around one or the other. Too many grass mons running around. Happy to see you battling though. Oooooooooooooooooo

My team is: Bulbasuar (vine whip, seed bomb, sludge bomb) Vulpix (ember, weather ball, body slam) Barboach (mud shot, mud bomb, ice beam) I got 14 in a row but there are still prob better teams out there idk

This is a great Cup for noobs like me. I only started May 15 and never even did any PvP until now. Im glad i collected low CP 3 star pokemon thinking i would lvl them later. FYI to any noobs like me; Your pokemon come back after to 100% life. I thought i would have to waste items. Also, this is easy access to TM items and evolution stones because you only need 2 wins out of 5 for a random item.

Bidoof even with lucky egg and 4x catch xp with excellent throw can get you 1 million xp per hour. Tested it today. Got 2.3 mil xp after just 2 hrs. Single most insanse xp event thus far in pogo.
