The NEW El Caminito Del Rey - Most Dangerous Path in the World! | Top 3 things you should know!

We head to El Chorro, Spain to hike the most dangerous trail in the world, also known as the El Caminito Del Rey (The King's Little Pathway). The walkway has been completely renovated and is safe to go on. It was a beautiful place to visit and highly recommend it!
Top 3 things you should before going!
1) Book tickets online well in advance and bring them with you
2) Bring lots of water and snacks because the trail is long and its hot!
3) You can arrive by car, hike to the end and take the bus back to the start OR arrive by train, take the bus to the start and hike your way to the train station.

100% awesome. I went in1994 with my Spanish girlfriend Cristina. It was very rundown then. Huge holes had been punched in the path, but we made it. Viva Malaga. Peace & love to all from New Zealand.😎

No I didnt mean the glass bridge, which is Zhangjiajie. The one Im talking about is very similar to the one of Spain without glass.in Huashan Mt. maybe u can put both in ur bucketlist and I hope u share again ur adventures with us so we can enjoy the amazing places even through our screen till the day we can visit them too, hopefully.

Thanks for the "heads up" on buying in advance. We're going there in April. Q: when you buy in advance, do you bring a printed ticket, poor on your smart phone, or do they check you off a list? ALSO: I've read that there isn't much mercy if you miss your timeslot. Do you have thoughts? We will be driving from Granada, after getting a rental car. Thanks

You can bring a printed ticket or show it on your smart phone. I think they may have a bit of mercy if you miss your time slot but not sure. We also drive from Granada. You can park along the side of the road at the entrance. You have to walk about 10mins to the entrance. Have fun!

we'll be there in about 6 weeks Just tried to buy tickets last night and only 5 of 17 (?) time slots we're still open. Most of those too late in the day. I bought the "tour" tickets to get the only early tickets

Do we have to walk through a water body at any point in the trail or do they have bridges to cross them?

It has bridges so you won't get wet at all.

Its still only possible to pass the trail in a group? I saw older videos who one or 2 persons walked the trail. And how are thr actual prices per adult?

No, you can go on your own. Just remember to buy your ticket time slot well in advance

Well, you wouldn't be walking the old closed original walkway. I am doing it in 2023.

I remember the first video of this hike...none of these "walkways" and "caged areas" whatever..this guy was walking it on dangerous walkways, people were using grappling hooks every other step, the walkways had holes, etc...and my balls crawled up into my throat just watching the video....this video, on the other hand, makes it look like a walk through the woods...my thrill is gone. (not that I would hike it either way...my fear of falling stay stays between me and my chair in my living rooom)...
