Man the fact you can play as Spopovich to steal energy from people is so cool to me. It's just a nice little detail, and I wish more games would come up with creative things like this. I can't wait to see how they incorporate Great Ape Vegeta, and what his special moves are!

There's quite a few movie villains that could like this; the first three stages are their minions while the main baddy is the final stage.

Some tips(not just for Doto, but for anyone else reading): • When you are a Raider, you do not want to melee unless you have a clear shot. Spamming ki blasts and supers at a distance while strafing are _usually_ (looking at you, Final Form Frieza) the safe way to go. • You can check if the survivors have their changes ready by either looking at the top right if you are a raider or the bottom right if you are a survivor. They will have an aura around their portrait if they can transform. • When you are a survivor, melee _is_ the way to go... provided you are an equal or greater level than the raider. It is still always risky to approach the raider alone, so try to avoid doing so when possible(even as a Level 4 vs a Level 1 raider. If they have any bit of familiarity with the game's combat, you're still cooked without allies). • When nuking an area as a raider, it is better to aim at an area where the power key is found, but not set. If a power key is set, destroying the area won't affect the super time machine's speed. If a power key isn't set, then the super time machine will be slowed down. Destroying the area where a power key is just found will undo all the progress the survivors did to find it, and will force them to go back to finding one in another area. • If you pop a Senzu beam, the raider will be able to send you out of the match the next time they down you. I have no idea why they did that because they're rare enough, but it's something to keep in mind. Don't self-res when the raider is close by and can easily smack you a second time. • Blowing up buildings is completely cost free as a raider. If you are looking for civilians and need to level up soon, you can just level a city or village rather than going through each door.

Is melee as a raider really that bad? I always feel like when the raider melees me as a survivor no matter the level difference I lose like 75 percent of my charge. Obviously play however you need to but ki spamming usually feels like it takes way too long to kill with

Another thing people may not know it that raiders can open lootboxes and use the civilian and dragon radar to level up and get dragon balls.

@@cyrolocker1229 yeah it's more useful in a 1v1 for sure. Also helps that the raider is faster than the survivors usually so if they're just normal running away you can just chase them until they're in melee range, which can be better than spamming ki at them and giving them room to escape

I can see Baby being the raider to not finish off a survivor but infect them & turn them into lackeys. Survivors become "raider pawns" or something and tasked with capturing or finishing off remaining survivors.

Oh wow, I didn't expect Spopovich. That's really clever because it essentially gamifies the key thing about the arc before Buu gets out: they could easily stomp the threat if they took it seriously from the start so that Buu never even shows up!

When I heard Doto call the early stages of Buu "weak", my eyes were wide open, because I somehow managed to win a full match as just Spopovich. I legit just hunted people down and murdered them. At that point I thought to myself "What if Spopovich was the one to kill the entire cast? What if he destroyed the earth?" I just find it funny that it's POSSIBLE to win as these forms.

Spopovich is extremely powerful in this game (I mean, he is going against civilians with HappyMeal Z-Fighters). Absorbing energy with Yamu can easily cut a Survivor's Change in HALF - even if they're a Level 3. This makes them a near-impossible threat to deal with in the early game. The only way to deal with them... is to run. Because their Ki blasts are so slow, they're way too easy to run away from.

@@airorello6290 not really, at a distance spopovich is really strong but if the survivors cut the distance or gang up on you they obliterate spopovich since he doesnt really have any close range options unlike the survivors and he isnt strong enough to overpower a level 2 or 3 survivor There have been matches where spopovich just gets fucking melted by a team of survivors that know what they are doing

U could definitely stomp the entire server as Spopovich, but it's more fun to launch death balls across the map as final form Frieza 😂😂

Credit where credits due, I thought initially they were gonna shoe horn the transformations, and I am proud of the devs of this game for staying incredibly strictly accurate to the lore! It's so cool to see Buu's revival, the "fight" between innocent and evil Buu, and Super Buu basically "boiling away" until it's just Kid Buu. Also credit where credits due besides Cell being my favorite of the three of the raiders i feel like just like with Spopovich's "absorbtion device" that using Cell to absorb people's energy is just SO incredibly satisfying, it's amazing. One of the best Dragon Ball games in years! And one of the most fun games I've ever played without a doubt! Looking forward to seeing you play as Cell!

@@RedeemerofDark i love the game too, it's one of the best games that has came out recently, but as i said the devs dont care about it. they refuse to take the advice their player base is giving them to improve the game and with the micro transactions in place on top of having to buy the game it just screams we want your money and dont care about what u want. i mean they have been creative with a new idea for the series and how they made their raiders (and hopefully the Great Ape will be just as creative) but that creativity is stifled by all of the mistakes they made when making the game and not taking on any of the complaints from the fans during the many beta's they held.

Some Buu tios I got for you. - Spopovich isn't as weak as you think, his ki blasts are good enough to win him some games and so is the scout form of yamu. - Early in the game you want to go chase for survivors rather than civilians, there are certain areas relative to were you begin that they generally spawn from and they can't really fight back if they are at 0 or just got lvl 1. You also revive majin buu way faster by getting survivors rather than civs. (it takes 2 survivors or 4 civs) Additionally knocking people out early helps dwindle their numbers and establish the raiders win condition.

I just really think his first stages suck compared to other raiders. He is good , but the lack of ki sense and the extra time to awaken Buu really hurts his early game. I do like the snare and his burst move but i think he's the easiest to jump and to set up the time machine

@@DeepCDiva Spopovich isn't someone to sleep on tho. If Survivors are stupid enough to fight him, it's an easy win, since his ability to steal energy cuts down Dragon Changes in HALF even as a Level 3. Most players won't be Level 3 at this point of this game, too. If Survivors decide to run from him, they have a chance... but if you walk on the ground to hide your Ki (which erases the Raider-icon from the HUD if you're not looking directly at them), Spopovich is easily one of the best ambush Raiders - sending out Yamu to chase down anyone that realizes that he's standing right behind them.

still cannot believe after learning about the premise of the game that Zamasu/Goku Black isn't a raider.

The problem is I don't seeing the playerbase lasting long, the fact is it doesn't support crossplay and isn't free2play really hurts this game potential. That and it's lack of content on release, really the game is basically how it was on beta, no other game modes or big content push

I think Turles and his squad would be fun. Imagine the raider has 5 characters of moderate strength as you try to gather energy for the Tree of Might. If that's too niche I think the Ginyu Sqaud would be fun, but don't know what their final levels would be.

Potential!! Imagine going from base Z Broly, to ssj Broly, to Legendary ssj Broly. The levels are very slow but once you gain Legendary ssj you get a tracking grab attack where you hold the survivor by the head (like he did my man Goku) and punch them into oblivion!!

Stage 2 is rough for Buu with no searching power, but good lord you blow up when you hit stage 3.

For those worried about the gacha system: don’t be. In its current state free rolls are relatively easy to earn with a player earning enough zen y for a roll around every 40 minutes. Or 3-5 matches. Super abilities are purchases le with the fire currency (no clue what it’s called) which is also earned from duplicates and gameplay. The only rolls you need are for survivor abilities which thankfully are unlocked the first time you roll a five star. With events offering selection tickets this should not be an issue. This remains to be seen but so far I’ve unlocked just about every ability except flying nimbus and Gallick gun. So In it’s current state the system isn’t bad but keep an eye out as it could easily be thrown for a loop with future updates.

They need to add Goku Black, Super Baby 2, and the Shadow Dragons (or at least Eys, Nuova, Syn, and finally Omega).

One improvement I want for the game is the removal of invisable walls over the destroyed areas. Just feels awkward that we can't fall to our deaths in the destroyed zone or manver over it.
