I love watching people lube stuff up and screw rods into tight holes
The older Evo 3-4 had the thrust bearing built into the Middle bearing and they were said to be prone to Crank walk, I'm talking about 11:43.

Go back another generation and the 6 bolt engine had a single piece thrust bearing and they were much less prone to crank walk. Its just a gut feeling, but I suspect clutches with heavy spring pressures and or starting the engine with the clutch pushed is a contributing factor to crank walk.
Really enjoying the videos. Have you ever done a q and a video? Really interested to see how you got into cars and gain the knowledge you have.
Great vlog.. In Noway on the rigs.. we use micron... As thou of an inch is HUGE!! ;) I also have an evo 5 ;)

Aaron Unknown what did he have to say? 🤬
Wrong All ARP main and head studs need the torque live on the threads . Why did you put in on the threads when you checked the oil clearance?.
