I've had one for a 1.5yrs now. Love it. Got it for something like $850 CAD and tax or something. I did have to get dual 16gb RAM and more storage but it handles everything I throw at it even now.

Got the same laptop with ryzen 7 7735hs, rtx 3050 6gb and 16gb ram..had no problems playing latest titles

@@revakriid ...yep. It only has one SSD slot so that is where the price cut was made. Overall it's an insane value at 450 considering that adding 8 gigs of ddr5 ram is only around 20 bucks. People talk crap on the 2050 but personal experience says it's almost identical to 3050 performance.

I picked up the Lenovo Legion 5 14.5" open box for under $1000 and its the best laptop I have owned. Gorgeous OLED screen, excellent specs for everything I need with a RTX 4060 and best of all I can actually game on international flights using a 100W Type-C charger. First laptop I have been able to do this with.

I love watching your videos and I have learned SO much from your videos! I am planning on picking up a Dell G5 5000 with a i7-10700f and a GTX 1650 Super TODAY!! It would be awesome if you guys would do a review on this pc also because of the fact that you can actually run a RTX 4060 and can maybe even run a RTX 4070!!

I have this same laptop, but with an rtx3050 (6gb vram), 16gb ddr5 5200mhz and an i5 13 gen. It plays every game Ive thrown at it snoothly with medium to high settings

The 7535HS is a refresh of the old Ryzen 5 6600HS / 6600H with 50 MHz higher boost clock speed. 7000 series Ryzen naming scheme is scandalous.

I get the intel core i5 13420h. On December e 16 gab ram. At Costco and it is very impressive specially if compared with my same core i5 13420h nvidia 3050. And I get almost the same FPS. 144 vd. 120 or sometimes 122

i have a ryzon 7 5800h with a 3050ti and it works great for every game i throw at it

4:45 Amd's website states that the 7535hs has the older 660m graphics, In fact I believe it is actually a rebranded 6600h. AMD changing their mobile processor's naming scheme has caused a lot of confusion for laptop buyers. While 660m and 760m are not the main GPU, the 760 m comes with av1 encoding and amd's afmf.

Does the hdmi connect to the dedicated gpu or the integrated gpu? My son's MSI had the hdmi connected to the integrated gpu, so no external monitors for gaming.

The main problem with these newer ideapads is that they're too deep to fit in a laptop bag. i had to resort to a last gen model with a gtx1650 and 5600h.

got hp victus with 4060 and ryzen 7640hs its really good, they got really good cooler also gaming on thoose never reached above 65c, so i didnt need to use the fan so loud, but i got no idea how to unlock hidden bios setting, do you guys know how to enter to hidden bios ?

It’s not a new processor. 7535HS is last gen Zen 3. Still good but it does actually match up acceptably with the older 2050

Jarrod's Tech did a rtx 2050 vs 1st gen RTX 3050 4gb mobile chip and in his tests they were roughly the same performance wise. So the RTX 2050 mobile video chip way better than the 1650.

This might be a stupid question but I would imagine having to either keeping your laptop plugged in always to play at reasonable fps or playing until battery starts to run out, plug it in and keep repeating that cycle is bad for the battery overall. Is it really an option to game on a laptop, even though many of them have crazy specs and doing so without damaging your laptop in the process even if it's over time?

Just cap the battery at 80% charging and you won't have too much of a problem, I keep all my devices to charge up 80 or 88% charge only. Sadly the battery will eventually die out no matter what you do, but you can slow it down by doing certain things to keep it surviving longer.

​​​​​@@anthonyarnett8774 sorry for late response I keep it at 80% - 88% so the battery will last longer. Charging it repeatedly to 100 will degrade the battery faster.

This is an excellent device, compared to the Lenovo loq it's way better. The type c port supports pd delivery via a portable battery up to 100w. That's insane and alone is reason to buy.

The Loq and Ideapad series from Lenovo are top tier Laptops better than MSI cheaper Laptops, Acer Nitro 5 comes no where close in screen performance and build quality, and the Asus tuff is the only real competitor

DDR5 single channel is roughly equal to DDR4 dual channel. 8 GB could be too little for modern games, as would 512 GB SSD. But, should be enough for games from PS4 era. I would recommend debloating Windows if you do not plan to upgrade RAM , cause Win 11 is a resource hog.

It's not good, I got the Ideapad Gaming 3 with the 3050ti. It crashed every single game, couldn't render anything in cinema 4D or Blender. Oh, and more than half of the Vram is dedicated to the OS. So you get MAYBE 2 gigs of Vram. Not worth the money
