I played some games with this build after your last video and it feels really strong.

Glad to see someone building like I do on shyvy. I always went hybrid on her as she does hybrid damage. Like sometimes ill do bork if its needed as well. It just made sense to me

I've been loving this build, I'm a bit m ore bruiser oriented when it comes to how I fight so I like going ghost with Shoji, Liandrys, Crypt, Steraks/Frostfire and have been having a lot of success

Yeah, you can pretty much adapt the build after the first two items to what you want.

There's a timer to work with that gets you to drake as it spawns. Take futures market and start on your bot side camps every time. Clear up and take scuttle, sometimes you can get both scuttles and still be on time. Back, spend gold, clear 2 bot camps and start drake at 5 minutes in the game. I play in emerald so the junglers I go against aren't particularly aware, so I basically get away with it every time.

Fleet on shyv has changed my life. That is all.

I played your build since your last video and actually climbed from silver to plat (euw). Thank you for suggesting fleet, thats my new main rune now. It's so weird that nobody was using it before you. That being said, how do you deal with a losing mid and bot lane in the same match? These are the games that usually feel completly hopeless to me😅.

Focus assisting mid over bot unless your bot is a strong combo. ADC is a dead role in League, whereas Mages/Mid laners are mostly buffed through items or direct champ buffs lately, and a strong mid that makes plays / roams indirectly ends up helping your bot and top with ganks versus ganking top or bot who will almost never roam unless they are high skill, in which case you wouldn't have to ask this question because their lane wouldn't be losing.

I have one I always play, but I prefer to play her mid and then split, since you have to do dragons with your jungle for the passive. The core items are Trinity and hexplate, maybe heartsteel if you like it more, then shojin, jaksho, titanic hydra and to top it off collector. yes.

Spam Q on waves or raptors to full up the fury bar. Try to line the targets up to hit them all with your Q

Do you ever hold W and E to slow clear speed but max out the fury gen from autos?

I thought about this a lot last year, what seems to work best is to think about upcoming fights, and to "make sure" to have ult ready when they come, so the likely answer is probably "Do it in moderation or when it makes sense" Also check 2:31

constant jungle changes and some nerfs over time, it's now a stereotype that Shyvana is fast at clearing, You can still kinda do that but you have to play perfectly. If you want no brain fast clears play AP assassins or AD bruisers

This dude chooses to go E -> Q, which is nonsensical for jungle clearing. Shyvana does have fast clear, but you have to level E -> W -> Q -> E, max E first, then W.

There is definitely wisdom in going W before Q if your goal is fast clears. W also offers better maneuvrability while trying to chuck those E's at enemy champs. I do have to wonder though. Leveling Q does up Shyv's Melee champ fighting or dueling power quite a bit more compared to W. And maxed Q with a finished Sho'jin has such a low cooldown that the attack speed from Q is close to permanently active. That benefits fury generation, and can extend ult duration, significantly so long as you have something to hit. I would suspect this offers a similar to, if not higher, damage output towards jungle camps than a maxed W.

@@Zhippy In my personal opinion, maxing Q or W depends on the enemy team comp entirely. If the goal is to build around my E in dragon form to chunk enemy players down, and the enemy team is stacked or being carried by strong bruiser/tank champs, I'm not going to max Q first as Shyvana will lose 1v1's easily against champs or team comps like that, in which case maxing W will net me faster jungle camp clears -> faster gold per minute -> item advantage so that I can gank or take objectives smoother. If the enemy team has a lot of squishy champions or fighters that aren't as much of a threat as say, a Darius, that I can go toe to toe with, then maxing Q might be the play instead.

I love Shyv but I've been holding back on maining her for like 2 years bc she's supposed to be getting reworked 😐

You should! The heal makes your battles and clear so much more healthy and the speed up makes it easier to stick to someone running away from you. I too thought it couldn't possibly be better than any of the other options in the same tree but I had to eat my own words. 😂

Why horizon instead of rift? I thought you liked more health so why get the dmg boost item that doesn't give more health and only increases your damage against that one person.

I am mildly confused about this ad well. Ult dive does not count toward triggering horizon so to get the damage buff you must hit a fairly long range E. If you pull it off it gives perfect information about enemies for the fight and it also gives 20 ability haste, so its not like it's bad. But bigger question for me is why not rift instead of Liandry's, 15 ability haste and 4% additional max percent damage with the same hp and just a little less AP. also no burn and 100 more gold to buy, but does that truly matter so much?

@@Zhippy the burn is what makes liandrys better. Shyvana is not as tanky as some people think she is, so they assume building her AP/HP items will make her able to sustain in fights, but she is paper thin. Her dragon form hp bar is just misleading so some bad players will back off from you if you hard engage because they assume you are tanky, whereas good players will just shred and kill you if they know what items you have. The whole point of this guys build revolves around Shyvana's E, so, that's why Horizon Focus is there. You'll notice he rarely ever dives in and tries to fight everyone at once, because he would get nuked. The playstyle is mainly chunking the enemy down with E and using W as a deterrent + repositioning tool. AD/Tank Shyvana can last a little longer being in the enemies face, but it's nowhere near as effective in damage and she sucks at being a tank compared to other actual tank/bruiser characters.

​@@zera2314 Did some thinking. A Sho'jin + Liandry's Shyvana will be in the midgame, maybe even early midgame if you got yourself some kills and towers/plating. And the later a match goes, the more easy Shyv becomes to burst. So that does indeed make sense. As for Jungle clear; Sho'jin's bonus percentage ability damage builds stacks off jungle camps, and shyv builds those stacks fast, while Riftmaker does not stack its effect off jungle camps. Liandry's burn of course also applies to jungle camps so that would make sense too.
