Very interested in buying one, especially after playing with the 2022 Navitimers which are really good, an upgrade from the previous years in terms of build, design and quality. Shame this is a limited edition and the 3rd day after it was announced I visited the local boutique and I was told there interest is high and some long term customers are already in the queue.

Thanks for your comment. Yeah they definitely did a great job with the new Navitimer models. I honestly love the colored dials, ice blue or mint are awesome. Unfortunately the Cosmonaute is limited and from what I heard the first batch is sold out already. Don't wait to long ✌🏻. I really like the look of the watch and the 24h dial is really cool. Overall a great watch with a cool story.

I really like the Cosmonaute Chrono-Matic with its 24-h dial. Calibre 11! It’s 47mm, which is rather large though. It also has a lot of toppings, hence “the pizza” 😅

Hello 😃, Nice & interesting video! I heard that Breitling don't give greater water resistance to this type of watch in order to avoid to be more bulky. But it's a great watch!!! And this reminds me another great pilot watch which I still waiting for a video... Yes IWC. And TOP GUN is in cinemas...😉. Great movie by the way!

😁 thanks for the kind feedback. They really wanted to make the watch water resistant however it would have made the watch way more expensive and therefore they decided to not do it. I haven't forgotten your wish regarding IWC 👍.

A beautiful watch, but I can't help but compare Scott Carpenter's Cosmonaute to Gene Cernan's Speedmaster. Both are in their respective company's museums. One went to space once and stopped working at the end of its first trip. The other went to space three times, including twice to the moon and nearly 50 years later is still working!

You mean it stopped working because the autopilot system failed and scott carpenter had to manually land back on earth in the ocean 200 miles from the intended destination and had to get into the water while the Navy struggled to find him? The way you described the two you made it seem like the Breitling just didn’t last on its own and also it’s one hell of a story. The Speedmaster is awesome as well but Scott Carpenters mission was very different, and it was at a time where NASA was trying to figure out very core things like what happens to the body in space or what eating in space is like.

Being so limited, it’s wise to pay around 36% premium to get this gorgeous heritage revival ?

It’s totally up to you but from what a I know it should already be sold out. However you can look towards vintage pieces 🙌

It looks pretty to me. So I guess I don’t need to worry about the low water resistance of the navitimer. If I damage it - just buy a new one for daily wear and frame the original.

Or you could use common sense and change the watch to one with higher water resistance, such as a dive watch, or you could omit to wearing it. I hope these suggestions might be helpful😊
