This is the new Brabus Rocket 900 One of Ten! Brabus have put a 900hp 4.5l Biturbo V8 into the AMG GT 63 S 4-door, limited the build to just 10 units, with a complete carbon fibre wide body package and a whole new interior. Join me for a first look and a drive on track; is it epic? You bet!
It's been 15 years since the last Brabus Rocket model based on the CLS of the time, but now they are back and doing it in style with a full conversion package based on the AMG GT 4-door. Of course it takes the top spec 63 S mode and dials everything up, including rebuilding and enlarging the engine from the original 4.0l Biturbo V8 to 4.5 litres, taking power to 900hp (from 639hp) and torque up to 1,250Nm (from 900Nm) - although it's limited to 'just' 1,050Nm to protect the gearbox and other components.
The changes don't stop there; the car wears an entirely new carbon fibre front bumper, side fenders, wide wheel arches, a large rear spoiler, new diffuser and even a unique front grille to enable additional cooling. Naturally it's fitted with a special set of wheels for the purpose that also feature exclusive carbon fibre add-ons for both aero and a distinct look, while riding lower and packing more of an audible punch with the special exhaust system.
Let's take a full look at the new car, presented in the traditional Brabus look of black paint as well as unusually for the company going for another car shown in metallic grey. But then, it's time to drive it for the first time, and share the experience including plenty of sound, full accelerations and a RACE START too.
It was a long wait, but you can sure bet it was worth it, the new Brabus Rocket 900 One of Ten is an absolute beast!

@@TristanSilverwood the prototype Gemera should definitely have chat logon credentials. I haven't even seen the new Tesla Roadster, though--not that I've cared enough to look for it. Honestly, the Taycan Turbo platform is the first EV to really pique my interest, and the Gemera--well, it's astounding to behold, even when sitting still, not running.

You can always ask them to tune it privately if you bring your own car. Won't have a fancy BS name though, or you can always bring the car to GAD Motors.

It’s really not a massive engine. It’s incredibly power dense but no where near being massive.
I can just imagine calling up my insurance company and when they ask what model car it is I wanna add to my policy, I have to tell them, "Rocket 900". . "Hello? Hello?!".

Insurance like it very much. Because people who buy special models(or limited edition) rarely drive. Annual insurance costs can buy a good model car one/year.

Many exotics require a deposit of 25 to 50k in cash or check before they will even insure something like that>I drive athletes around sometimes in their own cars and my supplemental for them only covers a 200k car--but it has to be production cars with a certain amount--like 10k made a year or more.I could not drive this or a bugatti--or most hypercars.I can drive lambos and some mclarens--ferraris as long as they are under 200k and mass produced--not limited edition ones.Honestly I am decently well off and I set a budget of 50k--cars are money pits in general and driving an exotic is not as fun as you think when you are worried about any minor thing that could damage it.Plus I just got a 2020 AWD Stinger and it is as fast as some exotics were 10 years ago.I admit though this is the type of car I would own if money were no object.I have known 2 athletes/stars that had exotics towed to their house cause they bought them and could not get them insured--they had to contact lloyds of london and wire a deposit to even be considered--and even then if your record is not clean they will not insure it.

Wow! How Meppen has changed over the years! Back in the early 80's, spent quite a bit of time in Meppen, Soegel, Paderborn Germany and across the border in Coevorden Holland. Those were very nice and quaint towns. Brabus has always been about quality and exclusivity. They tuned my Mercedes many years ago, and I always enjoyed visiting their Factory in Bottrop.
Shmee absolutely killing the game with all these incredible videos! When I hear Rocket, I think of the LWC Rocket from Gran Turismo, definitely very different haha

If I was rich enough to buy one of these, first thing I’d do is remove all the tacky looking brabus decals (except Rocket) and red stripes. Sometimes less is more, but that’s just my opinion 🤷🏻♂️ love those wheels though😍

Imagine the GT Black Series tuned by brabus. 4,5L flat plane crank engine, reinforced gearbox, 1000HP, over 1300nm for sure, 0-60mph somewhere around 2,5 sec, topspeed 350kph+ and road legal. That would be sick.
