The NEW BABOLAT PURE AERO 98 Review: An Offensive FIRECRACKER

Today we look at the Babolat Pure Aero 98, the stick of choice for phenom Carlos Alcaraz.
I am deciding between this and the Dunlop SX 300, I really enjoy both rackets, with the Babolat being slightly better for quick strike, offensive tennis. This racket is killer on serve, overheads, volleys and forehands, and doesn't disappoint on the backhands either.
I had mine strung with RPM blast at 52 pounds, but I would recommend a looser setup at 49 pounds for optimal performance. This is the standard model, I do NOT use the tour models as of now, as I can't use a heavy stick with all the hours I'm spending on court coaching.

I use VS natural gut at 15L in the mains of my PD+ with Lux alu power in the crosses and it lasts a long time, well worth it!

Had never seen anyone before who takes the racket up to trophy and then tosses the ball. We're all different, eh?
Did you put a leather grip on it? Or add any weight?

No just used stock specs! I have an over grip but that’s it
I don’t know how you can say 52 lbs is too tight. I’ve tried it with pen blast 1.30 at 55lbs and still think it’s too powerful

Rpm mains, vs in the cross , 49 pounds but I think it plays better at 45-47
Using gut on any racket will protect your arm

Love gut! It just breaks too quickly and gets expensive after a few restrings lol. Can’t afford it now but when I’m only playing tourneys will switch. Thanks for the rec
