Got flat bottom wheel on my new RS3 sportback. Also got ceramics and full carbon spolier, skirts and mirrors. UK spec car, Tango Red, the best colour!

You didn’t do a launch control! The first time I launched my 2023 Hatch (I’m from Australia) it was shocking, one of the best launching cars. I’ve had big power V8’s most my life (I’m 46) and nothing gets off the line like this thing. 0-100 3.5 (0-62) and 1/4 mile 11.76. In a stock hatch. Amazing performance and amazing sound. Launch one against your GTi. I love GTi’s but this is in a different league even against the Golf R. Good review my friend

Audi should have kept the old style both interior and exterior exterior with subtle differences.

You're joking? Previous car interior was terrible - poor driving position & that horrible pop up screen. Come on. Externally, the car was soft and boring. You'd not get a second glance from anyone walking past it. My new RS3's interior is so much better, they've resolved the driving position issues, brought screen down where it should be and there's a load of new tech. It looks great too, with all the red accents in the vents and on the seats. Visually the car is super aggressive, the big carbon wing really signs it off. Everywhere I park it people stop and look. That never ever happened with my old RS3. Then the way it drives, night and day better. Also got ceramics on my car, which is the icing on the cake. Old RS3 is pants compared to the new one. YOU could not be more WRONG pal.

@@mauricetoussaint7283 Agreed. The only thing I dislike about mine is the gloss black center console, steering wheel, and the shifter. Otherwise, significant improvements.

@@mauricetoussaint7283 I’m not going to lie when I say I like that pop up screen. I drive a 2015 Audi s3 and drove the new one as well for rental. I like that tactile feeling of the older generation. Oh well it’s all subjective.

Had both and love both! Still have my 8y sedan.. small details on 8v interior had more quality but over all 8y is mountains better car and faster stock car speaking ,best thing I did was take back seat rests out sounds so much better and runs 7.36 @95mph on the 1/8 no prep street road with lazer timing and pro tree , plan to race it in two weeks time at south Coast raceway prep track and hopefully go 7.2

@@bngs1983 True, it is subjective. I found the pop up screen massively distracting, to the point I wouldn't even use it. My new RS3 is a huge improvement to drive over the last one I had, huge. I did have a previous gen S3 and that was very boring to drive, albeit mine was a manual, which made it acceptable, just. I could never describe that as tactile to drive, quite the opposite. My new RS3, in Performance mode comes alive in your hands.

I need some sort of gear selector. That's a hard pass if I was in the market for this car.

Having one is definitely better but at least they still give us paddles to help. Believe it or not while driving it, I wasn’t looking for a shifter to rest my hand on, so you would get used to it after a while. It’s just a newer thing and it takes time to adjust to. Let’s just hope we can keep gas cars in the future because that’s where it will get a little hairy for all of us haha
