The NEW AbramsX: Next Generation Main Battle Tank Revolutionize Ground War
General Dynamics, the American defense firm responsible for the highly successful Abrams main battle tank, has just revealed its concept for the Abrams' future. General Dynamics described the AbramsX concept in a press release as "a main battle tank for the next generation, the AbramsX technology demonstrator features reduced weight for improved mobility and transportability, delivering the same tactical range as the M1A2 Abrams with 50% less fuel consumption."

Is the new Abrams really made in US this time or again a copy of the new German MBT? Funny that it appears a few months after the German tank and has almost the same functions.
