G'day CSS, first of all apologies for my slow response, I've been under the weather but I'm back on track, cool Proud round for your daughter, I have to say that I'm not a fan of what I call "painted" coins, this finish has been and still is produced on a number of Aussie silver and circulating coins, unfortunately as a collector you sometimes have to go with the flow, thanks for sharing this unusual silver dollar. My guess is that the enamel process since there's so much of it ended up costing the mint more to produce than a more standard Silver Dollar therefore the more expensive price point.

Thanks for sharing CSS! I was curious to have a good look at that coin. I will skip that one 😂 the obvers of king charles is okay-ish but that coin is ugly haha Happy stacking eh!
