Ducati’s are definitely the bike for poser dads here in Australia. S1000RR’s are for riders who want a comfortable street Superbike that also rips on track with a bit of extra safety. 40yo dad here also who’s riding is 50/50 road/track.

BMW “poser dad” here getting ready to take delivery of my 2023 S1000rr. Just figured I’d give your smugness a little advice. I’ve been on two wheels my whole life. I’m by no means a pro but feel confident and competent in my riding skills on any bike you throw my way. I love the BMW ergonomics and the cruise control and heated grips are huge for me because it makes my early morning rides to work considerably more comfortable. With all that being said, try not to bite the hand that feeds you. I’m sure there’s a lot of “poser dads” watching your content and your smugness comes off immature and annoying. Just stick to giving good info on the bikes.

@@Try2KeepUpK LOL! Ironically enough I ended up going with the 2023 BMWS1000R. So far I've put a full titanium arrow system on it (lord does it sound good), completed the Bren Tune Stage 1 with addition of velocity stacks and the Sprint air filter and I love this beast. I almost pulled the trigger on the M1000R but decided to let them work the bugs out, especially the unstable chasis at speed everyone seems to be complaining about. I'll go with M1000RR for my next BMW but I have the unfortunate privilege of going through cancer treatment right now (Testicular Cancer: 2nd leading cause of cause in men 13-19 and leading cause in men 20-40, so check your boys twice a week in the shower) and with the surgery and everything else my super bikes aren't as comfortable to ride right now. Should be good to go by mid July though.

Concur.. getting my 2023 ‘dad poser’ S1000RR Saturday. Also love my ‘dad poser’ Corvette. Been riding 9 years but none of these bikes are ridden like the motorsports…. Neither are Corvettes or Ferraris. Got the dough, buy it and enjoy it.

I’m here in NC and as the seasons change I’m putting the liner back in my jacket but having lots of trouble with mask fogging or my little squid brain feeling like the arctic. A pinlock insert helps with fogging, I also wear a thermal balaclava under my helmet and it helps a ton keeping your neck/ face warm. Hope that helps!

Ahh....with over 1M subs, why did they NOT invite you to the 2023 launch at Almeria? Hmm..

I test ride panigale v4 and the s1000rr 2023 . I chose the bm because it handles so nice and safe plus loads of electronics, grips, hill start, cruise control. Plus is having a fuel gauge and doesn’t boil on traffic as the panigale is like an oven under your as . I have a cb1000r honda 22 naked and still love her but i want a faired bike also .

I think many are in the same boat as you. There is heat options for v4. I like the look of the v4 better, but the sound I really give to the BM. BM has some good options. I do question both of value, service, and overall cost. It looks like both signicantly get a good outcome from a Bren tune 2.

YEAH, I had the Multistrada Enduro Pro. I took It out to Hidden Falls ADV Park, by you in Austin, and I can say It did pretty well but dayUm it is top heavy. I also rode my buddies Africa Twin there and....now I own a Africa Twin😆.

Meh my 21 Panigale V2 is leaving the stable for this. Also 30 and not a dad lol. It's just a way better bike in every single way. My V2 felt cheap even though it was beautiful with its exhaust,carbon upgrades trim and clear clutch cover. The engineering on the s1krr is on another level.

Well my good man, I consider myself to be a squid. I wear all my protective gear. But burnouts, wheelies, drifting, fighting with cars in traffic, slapping mirrors, loud pipes, and fighting with people who get out of their cars with our helmets on. Most carry guns, I don't. I'm an edged weapon kind of fella. Oh, and the hospital. If you're not on first name basis with emergency you ain't doing something right. It's because after ~10,500 RPM the bikes will triple in horsepower and they sorta move like how a squid propels itself through the water. The bikes also have the features of a squid.

I got a minor rear end on my 2021 M package - just broke the number plate holder but he accused me of letting my bike roll back on a gradient and causing the whole accident. When the insurance guy came to look at my bike I just showed him the HSC function - case closed. So handy to have sometimes.

Great video. The Yamaha R1 seems to be the bike everyone is shooting at. Still rather have an R1. That Ducati enduro is hilariously overpriced. I am suspect of that cylinder shutoff system too. When things get really complicated in the engine operating system, often reliability just says, "I'm outta here." Definitely an enduro for the poser crowd. Ten grand more then an Africa twin for not much more goodies and much less reliability. And I agree with what you said about twenty grand for a motorcycle. At that price level, I'm either buying a Goldwing or a 1000cc ( or 1400 cc) funbike.

@@PetrolJunkie You obviously do not live in big mountains. I ride a 160hp MT10 set up for touring. There are very few cars and no police. I can assure you that an Africa Twin would never have enough punch to keep up while accelerating out of the steep uphill corners. And if I was going to ride a lot of dirt, I'd get a Tenere T7

That (text me) guy's going nuts in the comments, maybe you should issue warning at the beginning of your vids till he pi----off unless you're one of those (if they're that dumb they deserve it guys.) So have you been checking your gonads since riding those e-bikes or maybe find a nice lady doctor.

Seems a bit premature to me to be releasing a new model - would have thought the current model was good enough for another year or two? I only have seen one other current model S1000 in my town other than my own 2021 model m package so I am wondering how well they were selling. But bikes and cars are very expensive in Ireland due to government taxes. Its not enough to make me want to upgrade to the new model though. I am not a fan of winglets on bikes and the ones on this BMW look particularly gaudy.

I looked it up we only got 1600 S1000rr in 21 in the USA vs 25k gsxrs etc. It's low production. It will hold value over time. But it's a Premium bike and the aero works aprilia had it so does Ducati people expect it.

Get somebody to sponsor you a 125 or 150cc scooter. They take a plate but have somebody work that out for you. Then, zip around town and nobody will be the wiser. Eventually a cop will get directly behind you and you might get pulled over. Take that pinch. 150 Tao Tao and 125 Zuma both look like a 50cc scooter unless you notice the plate. I'll have to admit I took the European approach to horsepower. I got my 125 scooter first. I did a couple years on that, then my MT. I've been on dirt bikes my whole life but never been on the street. I believe I'm still on an a2 bike. The loan for this is 7 years and then I figure I graduate to unrestricted. Duke 890 or r1. I've watched a few videos of yours I own a 2013 s1000rr an your first ride you were speechless an overwhelmed. Now you seem like a squid who has had head shake on s1000rr or had a bad time so your trying to down play the bike . These are phenomenal bikes an that goes for R1s cbr1000rr zx10r an so on. If you give a negative review on a bike of this calibre then you need to check yourself dawg before you wreck yourself.

ZX10R is the nicest bike and I love the looks and KRT styling but this merely my opinion.

BMW is one of the best, fastest and technological motorcycle on the market for the money. I have a R1 and its one of the worst street bike out there, ZX6R felt cheap compared to the s1000rr, BMW comes with more than the ZX10, CBR1000 is not worth $19.100 from the dealer and Ducati motorcycles are over priced here is Maryland.
