Hi, what range finder would you use with this scope pls?

Focus is in front of the ir. Lens cover to keep the rain off?

So if I’m not mistaken this set is super complete with the usb stick, memory card. 3x 18650 batteries and mounts. So the only thing I need extra is a charger for the 18650 batteries?

Looks excellent, is there a range finding option?

Good morning-not yet as a pure LRF -the unit does have a stadia metric range finding aid feature inbuilt

The battery is 10hr (NV 18hr).. Im guessing its also intern. -Is it replaceble? If not is it replaceble by manufactor? What is the expected lifetime of the battery/scope?

I think once the battery fails your ready for a new scope that’s what kills it for me

If you zero on 3x, will the point of impact change if you go to higher magnification? I know the pard has that problem

This is the case with any 2nd focal plane scope, the digital zoom is 2nd focal plane and the optical zoom is first focal plane. It's because in 2nd focal plane the retical stays the same size when you zoom in, so obviously this changes the impact relative to the retical. First focal plane the retical zooms in and gets bigger as you increase the magnification so the zero is always kept the same. 2nd focal plane is no issue though if you use a set magnification or remember the hold overs for each magnification. I just use Strelok ballistics app on my phone and it works it all out for me :)

Can I ask what you recommend between the WULF add on vs this WULF 3-24 scope? I have a very nice scope so I'm curious which is the better route to go.....thank you

Hi-A full time option is always preferable ,as it does not have to rely on the optics it is mounted on for quality of operation, an add on is for versatility across various platforms giving a good degree of night vision capability

Hello Frankie, yes you can use an external power pack whilst using the unit if you wish.

pretty disappointing plugging a scope that claims to have range finder and an app for connecting to phones when 1. after 9 months of releasing the scope still haven't released the app and 2. the range finder..... just simply doesn't! and when I called up to ask how it works I was told forget about the range finder 🤷. these two functions were a big factor when choosing this scope so to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. manufacturers/dealers should not be claiming this products has these functions when clearly they dont

Thank you for your comment, you saved me from pulling the trigger on that one. If you have been told that then I would suggest that is misselling and breach of contract. Remember as a consumer you still have rights if it does not do what they say.

if I was you I'd consider the ATN X Site range my mate has one and they are 100 quid cheaper for similar spec model and does what it says on the tin I'm kinda wishing I went and got the same as him

@@eatonbeaver1818 no i agree i brought gammo air pcp coyote 1300$ in aussie money. shoots fine pump it up again off point of aim. hmmm send it bk under warranty they put in a vice shoot 1 group send it bk i said it shoots fine till u pump it up. 5mths later. do not by gammo coyote. horrible trigger 12mm off mush then bang fired nor 2nd stage wall

How far can one see without the IR snd still be clear? Some rodents are scared of the light, Thanks.

Hi-all digital N/V units require some form of IR illumination to give a usable image- unlike optical units which can make more use of available ambient light

We keep seeing adverts on these new products, and keep being told it will be available at such n such a date, but the goalposts keep moving. Can someone please be honest and tell us when we can purchase one? Very frustrating!

Ya, I've had the same problem. I've been keeping an eye on a few different scopes for about 2 years now. All the different vendors claim to have them in stock but after reading the fine details they do not. When I put a scope on back order the expected date keeps getting farther and farther away. I finally took a chance and made a purchase from a vendor claiming to have a certain scope in stock. After waiting 4 weeks and being given different excuses I finally had to demand a refund. At this point I have narrowed my scope choice down to what ever the hell is actually in stock and deliverable. The Sitemark Wraith 4K Mini looks promising. It should arrive next week but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Thanks for this James, the Wulf looks an awesome piece of kit and a sweet all-in package: hope I/we can borrow this for review soon? Meanwhile a few questions if I may (other than "where's the daylight footage?")... @2:00 I assume the various reticle options are internal menu-based/-controlled and unrelated to the various markings around the ocular bell which you rotate as you describe options? Hmm the reticle only appears on HD recordings, not in 4k recordings... so is it possible to view through the eyepiece in 4K but record in HD? Nice to see three 18650 batteries included, are these all for the supplied IR LED torch, or can the internal batteries be easily changed-out? I see the (great) seven-hour battery life and also understand that may only be advisable once the two year warranty has expired? The onboard Picatinny rail's on the right hand side? (dagnabbit!) ...my add-on LE-032 LRF is set-up to mount on the left of a scope, but hoorah - I see the one-piece mount includes short lengths of Pic rail on both sides; sweet! Really hope I/we can review these for my channel soon? All the best, cheers. Russ

@@flazzy6931 Ah I think that refers to the rough-as-fiddlesticks stadiametric rangefinder many digital scopes, spotters and binoculars include. Sorry, but to my knowledge it doesn't include an infra-red LRF. Cheers. Russ
