    The fact every switch video on this channel uses a neo70 is very nice. Not only does that say it’s user friendly having to constantly remove and attach parts but also makes comparisons viable

    This is such a high quality video, the editing and production is just so good. You really do never disappoint with your videos man. While I do love your switch reviews, I definitely wouldn't mind more keyboard reviews like this :) Also your voice is really soothing

    I like that you are showing many different combinations in sound test. Other youtubers usually show only one which isn't enough imho. My only suggestion would be to make this segment a little longer. Great video! :)

    Just bought this keyboard a week ago wanting it to be my first aluminum keyboard I wanted this to be my real first custom keyboard ranging from way to much time on KZread finding the right switches and what keycaps to get and one thing ill say as this channel has made it really helpful I have decided to go with the CF plate and put some Gateron Baby Raccoon switches into the board to hopefully get a more clacky smooth experience typing but nothing to strong like with a tactile switch if you ever see this I would like to thank you in my couple hour journey of making this truly "Custom" keyboard

    Another excellent video, thank you! I just finished a Neo65 using the FR4, all foam and Gat Oil Kings, and PBTfans Subarashi, super thocky and smooth! Might pick this up for my wife! After lubing there stabs I felt they were more than tight enough once on the board so didn't install the extra tabs.

    thanks for the review! Would love to see the details of the various configs you put together even just for reference for what sort of switch/plate/mountings resulted in those sounds. Hoping that Neo / QK eventually makes a 60% gummy o ring with a weight, most of those boards tend to be more expensive, and it seems like they could sell enough volume to bring the price down.

    I would love to see reviews for ortholinear or even split keyboards like the Corne and Lilly58. After using a Corne for a few months, I can't see myself switching back to a traditional keyboard layout.

    The stabs are PCB mount clip-in, so assembly would be much easier if you have a pair of tweezers to handle the stoppers.

    Angry emailer here. Just received my tester package in the mail and if any of you are hesitating, just go ahead and pick 10 switches and be happy you didn't waste money! I've ordered from every brand and I would say the packaging quality are in the top 3. The customer support and the actual care is #1. Thanks for being a sincere hobbyist business, that isn't fly by night hypebeast fomo based!

    Considering these boards are in many ways aimed at first time buyers of custom mechanicals, I find it a little dishonest how QK keep advertising these as “in-stock”. People who bought the ‘in-stock’ neo65 through vendors during R1 back in august still have not recieved their boards. Waiting for a custom board 3-4 months is not unheard of, but i fear the misleading will scare newcomers away from the hobby. I really don’t get why they can’t just be transparent about the buying proces

  • @milktoothnu

    @milktoothnu

    8 ай бұрын

    Thank you for sharing that: it's crucial that first-time buyers have a clear understanding of what to expect when entering the world of custom mechanical keyboards. In regards to the Neo65 orders, do you know if the ones placed directly through QK have been shipped out already? Would be helpful to understand the full scope of the situation.

    @@milktoothnu According to the discord, six rounds of neo65 have been fulfilled/shipped for direct buyers. It’s still a preorder in my book, albeit a very quick one. Buying directly is only available in america though, the rest of the world must go through regional vendors. Again - the buying experience is not bad IMO, it’s just advertised as something vastly different than it actually is and i think buyers should be aware.

  • @milktoothnu

    @milktoothnu

    8 ай бұрын

    Agreed. The difference in fulfillment times between buying direct from QK versus those of regional vendors can be quite confusing. It's a point to improve on in their future offerings.
