SJ: During my psychology degree, I burnt up lots of units studying the 'correlates of consciousness' in a hybrid between psychology and philosophy. I sincerely hope that this becomes a fundamental question for all beings - not just in the dusty hallows of universities. What it means to be human, what it means to be conscious, what constitutes fundamental personhood is long overdue for debate. Not just with the advent of AI, but with refugees & homelessness, post covid income earning, the conversation around a basic wage and the right to live off the grid - opting out. Dead governments trying to stay relevant that no longer appeal to either left or right leaning folk are not providing forums - so who will it be? You tubers? AI is a catalyst not an answer.

Great video and incredibly timely for me! I have just started a course in AI to understand exactly what it can and can't do. However, I am also a horary astrologer and when I asked AI if it could do horaries, it told me to consult an astrologer as it is beyond its remit! So yes, there are things it can't do and thank goodness for that.

From my perspective, we don’t know anything beyond our current understanding of physics based on the current tools that we have that are very limited. There are things about consciousness that we have yet to understand. I think it’s important as technology continues to progress, we need to keep an open mind to the things we might discover in the future. Always hoping for the best though! 😅

I think AI should not be underestimated even now. For example, I personally am working on implementing an astrological AI with a diary for astrologers (AiDA: Astrodiary). And in some areas, it turns out very decent and gets better and better every month - because the AI models themselves are becoming better 😇

AI would probably correct a lot of the erratic human interpretation of astrology, especially from a lot of the archetypal distortions prevalent in the 'mundane' community. If the algorithm is sophisticated enough to correct those errors and conflations, it can deeply impact the predictive aspects of it - which I personally have a gripe with. The future should be left unknown.

Just another front, another layer. For one thing, I think the bounds/terms need another look.

Already been doing it for awhile and just launch med my AI Astrology and training it with prophecy work, and deeper spiritual meanings that co-star and those big corps aren’t even thinking about. Teaching it mundane astrology, etc

Beautiful! I've certainly used it a ton, too, since it became available, and it's been a powerful tool, one I'm grateful to have access to.

AI will be able to read charts and reduce the amount of astrologers used.

Ai might be scary just like how the printing press the telephone and the internet was (and many more technological advancements in the past) so I’m not shocked there will be people scared and think lifw is over but I have a good feeling it’s here to stay whether we want it or not and so I’m prepared to take whatever to come bc it’s no use complaining about something we can’t stop lol

I’ve been thinking about the zodiac. Since some signs overlap and are extended, Can AI find the exact points of the zodiac? I feel like human forcing the constellations into 30 degree slices isn’t accurate enough. We probably don’t need ai for that, just observation?

I’m optimistic on AI and actually think it’ll produce a good human crisis that makes us integrate technology in a healthier way. But it’ll get dark for a bit
