Here's my guitar arrangement to the Hoagy Carmichael song "The Nearness of you".
It's a jazz tune written in 1937 but I have make it more in a kind of jazzpop fusion style in this arrangement. The arrangement can stand on its own even though I have an accompaniment in the video.
Many artists have record this beautiful tune as Glenn Miller orchestra, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Oscar Peterson, Al Jearreau, Charlie Parker, Frank Sinatra, Joe Pass, Joshua Redman, Michael Brecker w. James Taylor, Etta James and Norah Jones among many others.
