    *** PLEASE READ FIRST * From most reviews below THE DOOR HINGE at the top is the most difficult to figure out. USE black bolts, and the INSIDE SCREW is for adjusting the door ONLY. Do not tighten. Tighten the outside bolts. The inside bolt is designed to bent the bracket in and out so you can adjust the angle of the door when closed. I hope this helps. BTW this video is much better than the factory one. Thanks for doing this video. I wish I had watched yours first

    Wow, just got mine yesterday and getting ready to tackle it. Your vid shows up when searching along with the manufactures! But unlike Napoleon, you narrate (nice bonus). I have to admit I thought it would be more put together out of the box. Will have to use my old scale model building experience to get this one together. Might be fun! Thanks for the vid.

    Thank you for this video, it was very helpful in comparison to Napoleons official assebly video that lacks narration and close ups. It sorted out the screw issue on step 9 as my instruction sheet did not mention the use of the stainless screws. I think it all came together easily and can't see how people complain about the instructions. As a Swede you basically live your life by an IKEA manual anyways. Cheers!

    COOL !!! Nice grill. I'm in the process of buying a grill, I see that Napoleon gives more than weber, qualitatively, also looks great. At the beginning I wanted to buy a Weber but I think I will choose and buy napoleon. I live in Poland, I have a family in Canada. Have fun grilling BBQ. Regards

    Put my grill together this afternoon. Mine went together a bit easier than yours. I ended up with a bunch of extra screws. The right shelf did not seat easy. Hope it gets better over time. Wish the grill had a propane gauge like my old Weber, but I love this grill.

    does anyone know what the pre-drilled theaded holes on each side of the grill are for? They are below two stainless screws an in a dimple. They seem to be for nothing.

    Great video!! Much better than the official one. I haven't actually used it yet because my Napoleon is on it's way. But, I have a question that is concerning to me that maybe you can answer. I have propane run to my pool cabana underground from a large tank. Can I assemble this with the propane inlet hose sticking out the back so I connect to my propane outlet in my cabana instead of inside to a portable tank? Thank you for any insight you may provide.

    Great question, even though I don’t have an official answer I’m gonna say that it shouldn’t be a problem because you can always use a flexible rubber line from the barbecue to the propane line. Hope this helps! 😊

    @@ujjwalsaxena16 yes - get a powered drill and really force it. I know it feels wrong, but what you're doing is creating the threading for the screw to go in. It's the right place for the screws. Bad design - sorry, Napoleon.

    No wonder why I couldn't get the doors on. The instructions for step 12 show the same two screws to use as in step 11 (not the stainless screws that you installed). Good thing you posted this video. By the way, were you able to find a grill cover? They're all sold out. Happy grilling!

    I got the doors on with the other screws but they aren't perfectly level and require some lifting in order to get them fully closed. Were you able to get yours to open and close perfectly?

  • @DumbMoran

    @DumbMoran

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@con4man I actually called Napoleon's customer service and they actually told me those 5 stainless screws are for another model and to stick with exactly the screws the doors call for. With that in mind, yes, the door's close and open fine on a perfectly level surface, but if you start to move grill about, one of the doors becomes off-level and won't close by itself when it's near the magnet.

    I found that the outside and inside screws for the doors work together. Move both in the same direction to move the top or bottom part of the door. Door misalignment is really noticeable on uneven ground or pavers.
