I let my tank run for almost a year after I had a heater malfunction and lost all my coral and most fish. I did absolutely nothing. My wife and I also had a baby a little later so I didn’t have much time to mess with it anyways. I didn’t scrape the glass do a water change just kept up on my ato container. I had hair algae so think I couldn’t see in the tank anymore. When I decided to revamp the tank i did a 75% water change scrubbed all rock and glass to remove algae and my tank has never looked better. I think to being successful in this hobby its all about maturity and it takes a while to get that

I only stumbled across this channel just last week when researching more on Red Sea products. I instantly was glued to Jake as he had such a charming effervescent personality on screen that I subscribed to this channel. I just heard of the news recently and much prayer to his family. I am glad to have sub’ed to this channel.

@@joshperrin5294 Pretty good! Got a second fish and a few tester corals about a month later. Hammer and clove polyps have been happy and healthy but my Zoa's haven't been overly happy. Just added a third fish and an assorted batch of LPS today. Fish looks happy but Shipping was rough on the corals so we'll see if they'll bounce back.

With all gadgets and add-ons that are available for tanks today especially reef systems, it's nice to see a simple and easy to maintain AIO tank! I find that the tanks that are designed for simplicity are the ones that have little to no issues and experience the most success. This, I believe, has become a lost art and I appreciate you guys focusing on this so new aquarists can start a tank wether marine or freshwater and not have to go crazy buying every new gadget available which can get very expensive and overwhelming! Great job!!!

Red and Green Blasto Frag. Purple Tip Frogspawn. Florida Rainbow Recordia. Bam Bam Zoa. And...a larger chunk of GSP, on its own life rock back corner of tank. All are doing absolutely excellent (Except GSP is being a cry baby...dipped all in Reef Revive and GSP had some bugs on it...placed it back in tank, closed up...others opened back up in a couple of hours. Next morning was fully open, then closed halfway after about 6 hours of being open, moved the rock around to more center corner back area, and its 90% closed. I'm sure it will be fine) My Ricordia is already stretching down to the rock and looks like it's about twice as big since I bought it. 2 Black Clowns, 1 Yellow Devil Damsel (so far, not a meany yet, but will keep an eye on him)..1 scooter Blenny All within 1.5 weeks. Going to sit and hold right now for a month or 2 to monitor tank...but so far so good.
