Probably more than "a joke every 2 minutes". The great thing about these movies is that you can watch them over and over and find new jokes each time.

If you like this, you should react to the TV series it was based on. Police Squad! (1982) It was cancelled after just six episodes because the studio thought there were too many jokes and viewers would have to pay close attention to the show in order to get much of the humor:
