psych well the first season was of them doing their music videos, but it also focused on nat’s awkwardness and overthinking when it would come to his interactions with rosalina. the second season was them preparing for their tour , but there were some episodes where alex rlly cared about raising awareness about global warming and the polar bears and alex talked about that during the tour, rosalind also found out about nat’s crush on her and then they kissed and started dating. the third season was centered around the band filming a whole movie production, but there was a special christmas episode where they had a charity benefit for orphans and nat, natasha beninfield, and andre from victorious sing a song dedicated to obama’s platform. the other episodes sort of centered around nat and rosalina’s relationship problems, like when rosalina had to leave for a 6 month cruise during the filming of the movie and during that time, she ended up kissing some french pianist, it got on the tabloids, nat was heartbroken, yadayada yeah that’s basically the whole show.

the older i get, the more i appreciate how great the songwriting that came out of NBB was. yes, the show was amazing, but the songs really were written by a band of kids and that's just incredible. this song is still catchy to this day. NBB forever!!!

coming back to this as a 25 year old music theorist, that key change at the start is genuinely a "magical feeling". It starts in F major with the chords Bbmaj Fmaj Cmaj, or the 4-1-5 in F, then it moves to Bbmaj Fmaj Amin, or the 4-1-3, a progression that could easily loop back to Bb (and it does later), but instead it flips the Am to Amaj... then Bmaj?? then C#min??? That moment feels SUPER magical, suddenly we're doing Amaj Bmaj C#min, which is the 4-5-6 in the key of E major. How did we move DOWN to E major from F major yet it feels like such a bright lift?? actually genius key change

This is my first time coming back since the show ended 😮‍💨 the nostalgia is insane.

Just remember..you were probably about 9-12 years old, finally home from school and you bust out that DSI, launching flipnote studio to try and recreate some cool stick figure animations you saw from KZread. You turn on the TV and flip through that simple TV guide, showing CN, Nick, and Disney all next to eachother. Because it was a bit rare, you were surprised that naked brothers band was on, and instantly get hooked, relating to the childish jokes, but also dreaming of being a super famous kid rock star, just like NBB. Life was simple, but sometimes remembering stuff like this makes you realize how special you are to have grown up during such a time. We, the 20-24 year olds of today, are a generation.

I wrote these guys a letter once, I don't know if my mum posted it (I really hope she did). It was from 10 year old me (now 25) expressing just how much I adored their music and how it helped me get through so many hard times. I had a bit of a rough childhood and this band along with their TV shows and movies were just one of my few solaces amongst crap times. I really hope they know just how much they inspired me and most likely many more people my age. I know every single song they ever produced and even remember the different versions of this song. I remember screaming with excitement and running to show my mum when I saw this new version come out! I was like "MUMM AHHHH OMDDD THE NAKED BROTHERS BAND RELEASED A NEW VERSION". I made her sit with me and watch the music video. Every now and then my mum randomly sings Banana Smoothie to me. Thanks guys for being such a great band and bringing light into my life when I needed it the most, from your biggest UK fan - I will fight anyone who tries to tell me their a bigger fan xD

I met these guys from a sweepstakes back in 2008, when I was 13. It was an amazing and really fun experience, and the only one of its kind I've experienced in my life so far. Coming back to the NBB's music is like a sledgehammer of nostalgia to me.

​@Shimmer They certainly were! I did feel awkward at first when I first met them at a luncheon(?) thing during the contest trip (I'm older than Nat by a few months, but I was still nervous). They were very chill and nice. I even recall that Alex and I were playing around with water bottles by poking them with pens... one of us squirted another guy at a nearby table by accident. I'm also in a background crowd shot of the Polar Bears Movie. Even the various copies of the contest winner announcement commercial showed where I am. I'd love to share a copy of one of the versions of the commercial, but idk if I'd get in trouble with Nickelodeon or whatever by uploading something like that.
